He said something again today in the City - Tottenham match. He mentioned us in the same breath as with how City have been/will be spending. I doubt he knows anything, though.

But lets all pray like mad he is right for once.

The thing is City can buy all the players they want, but if its a bunch of amazing world class players with huge ego's and people who are moany idiots it won't do much for the dressing room.

At the moment at LFC I love the fact the manager is the biggest person at the club, it means people listen to him and there are few people who moan, if they do they get kicked out. It does wonders for the spirit of the squad and the way the players play.

Remember this moment Ryan 🙂

I know it sounds a bit stupid but I'm not as arsed about the league position next year as the status of the club. They go hand in hand in a lot of ways but after years of watching barely decent eurotrash getting in the starting eleven, being owned by yanks and sitting next to norwegians, I had come to wonder what exactly it was I supporting.

It looks now like we could be managed by Dalglish for a few years, finally playing decent stuff. Carra will be soon coaching, there's loads of kids from the area coming through, and it all starts to resemble something a bit like Liverpool. I know people on here say they're not arsed about that sort of thing but it's the only thing that will keep me interested any longer. The whole point is that it's area v area, and that looked to be about to end as Gerrard and Carra's careers came begin to dwindle.

This is the best we've played for 20 years, and it's with people I didn't think capable of stepping up to the plate. It's all about one man right now, so fuck any bidding wars for any players. If they want to come they get it, if they don't, their loss.
