I have no idea yet he said it twice to David Pleat as if he heard or was told something.
 
I have to say we no longer look like a team needing that 100m all in one window in order to compete.

He's not one to speculate. And Kenny said in an interview the new manager coming in will have plenty of money to spend.
 
Top class CB: Cahill or Hummels or Subotic
Top class LB: Cissokho
Top class Winger: Sanchez or Hazard
Top class CM: Defour or Alonso (yeah I said it) or M'Vila

That should leave us with 20 million to spunk on Lukaku or a talent in that 'sphere'.

I don't like the idea of throwing a mythical figure around in the air. It's the same every year, "Liverpool have x amount to spend". It's as pathetic as any article when the word "warchest" is used.

Didn't John Henry state in the past that if players are needed they will be bought? There is no definitive amount of expenditure. I like that approach.
 
Probably a bi of both though; Im sure FSG woud like to spend only on players that are absolutele necessaryand try whenever possible to promote from the Academy. I suspet we'll be looking at 1 or 2 quality players every transfer window, which should do nicely
