The main thing I've noticed about City - and this is going back to last season - is that they lack discipline and organisation, which has always struck me as weird when thinking back to Hughe's Blackburn side.
The game today was a perfect example of that. City finally got their noses in front after getting outplayed in the first half and yet instead of cooling things down and taking the sting out of the game, they left the game very open by pouring forward as quickly as possible every time they had the ball.
I think this was the first City game I've seen this season - perhaps a bad example as they were obviously well off form - but based on last season, Hughes has struggled to really get them to perform as an efficient, consistent unit that can control games. They've got loads of quality that will always get them goals, but to be a top side, you need to learn how to control games.
