When was the last time we won 5 league games in a row?
Particularly if Dreamie hints at the mere possibility it might happen.

I'm sad to say I don't give the slightest fuck. For the first time in decades. I won't watch it also.
It's over for me, I guess.
I think that the bug Mane caught was not being awarded fouls against him any more. Not sure what's happening, but he gets taken out multiple times per game and gets nothing from the refs - whereas, our opponents seem to get every slight tap. Did he fuck Mike Riley's wife or something?
Mané has been a superb player for 3 seasons before having a massive dip in form this year post covid. But one thing that was persistent with him even at his best was that his finishing was always more about lashing the ball towards goal than clinical placement. You can see it in the above clip, he scores but he's sliced across the ball and not hit it very cleanly. Weird as it sounds his finishing technique has never been great, it's why he's always missed so many sitters. The difference was that he used to make/receive so many chances that it didn't really matter, he would usually knock one in eventually even when he was not in top form.
Its not that hes a bad finisher, certainly not like Firmino who is genuinely a poor finisher in front of goal, but it is definitely one of his weaknesses.
Davies has been injured. You do wonder what was the point of Tsimikas and Davies
Robbo's been knackered for ages, and Tsimikas still can't get a look in
Not sure I'd entirely agree with that. Some of Mane's finishing for us has been excellent.
Mane generally leans back and almost collapses when he strikes the ball, which gives him a lot of power, but it's a bit of a lottery in terms of placement. That isn't his issue now, though. He's just low on confidence, which is impacting even the easier finishes.

[article]Liverpool are yet to win a match at Old Trafford under the reign of Jurgen Klopp, with four draws and two defeats from the six matches played there during his tenure.[/article]
And possibly exhausted? We take his Duracell running for granted, no wonder sometimes that by the time he gets into scoring opportunities that his accuracy is off.Mane generally leans back and almost collapses when he strikes the ball, which gives him a lot of power, but it's a bit of a lottery in terms of placement. We could easily get humiliated.Very surprised so far to see most TV pundits going for us or a draw. ESPN's 'crew' seems to the outlier in that respect. Can't see it.
I think Nat is very doubtful, unfortunately. I guess that means Fab at the back again, as I doubt he would risk Rhys or Davies at Old ToiletIn Klopp's pre-match interview he spoke a lot about how we must win this. He isn't going to put out a defensive team with that in mind, but I doubt he'll start the 'Fab 4' either.
I still see one change to the team I posted earlier, with Jota as a deep lying, fast arriving, #9, for Bobby perhaps :
-----------Alisson-----------
TAA--Nat--Kabak--Robbo
----------Fabinho------------
------Thiago---Milner------
Salah---Jota---Mane
We could easily get humiliated.
Struggling to give a shit tbh. End the season now.
