Currently their debt stands just shy of £500m. Pogba will walk for free, Martial will likely walk as his loan spell has been woeful. Lingard is walking. They're going to be out of the top 4 at this current rate. The stadium needs overhauling.
How do they get the £200m they would need to give Ten Hag to fund the summer window?

Not even close, Utds revenue streams are constantly increasing. They are basically unsinkable like Madrid or Barca, they make so much money that it would be nearly impossible for them to go bankrupt.

Everton on the other hand have lost £370m in 3 years, have no major assets and are being forced to scrap sponsorship deals that were inflated by Usmanovs blood money. They are also trying to find £500m to build a new stadium, which will inevitably cost closer to £1bn once it's finished. They are a financial disaster waiting to happen.

I thought Anderson's council had promised to lend and or build the stadium for them?

They’d offered to part-fund via a loan but Everton turned down the offer (before Usmanov was sanctioned).I think they also knew it would lead to political friction in the City anyway.

Madrid have been very frugal, they go on their splurges but not nearly as frequently as they did n the past. They made a small profit during the pandemic and slashed wages. They now have a transfer kitty of 300m to compete with PSG.
Barca have had to restructure their finances because of debt, and were desperate for cash that they gave Spotify the naming rights plus shirt sponsor all for 60m Euros. They're talking about giving Ten Hag £200m, which they'll have to borrow. Its a ticking time bomb.

Manure have gone from making 143 million in Ferguson's last year to losing 93 last year. They're not nearly the cash cow they once were, losing money in three out of their last four years. They'll have to sell equity if they're actually going to do the things they need to - but that's not the same as going bust

Unsinkable like Barca who are nearly bankrupt and would have been FUBARd if Xavi didn't get them back into CL?
