Drawing at home to Leicester and not going for win at Everton were costly I reckon. Ity had their blip around Christmas, us just after. City ain't dropping points.

Need to win CL to have something to show for this truely marvellous season.

No you don't. Seriously. It does you no good. All you're doing is getting your hopes up and getting them gangraped every week.

Look at it logically, temper your expectations. Your belief, hope and fandom can't affect the outcome. All it does is hurt yourself.

Cheer our amazing team on by all means. That's a given. But this is one fucking cunt of a pill to swallow, so why not make it easier on yourselves?

I have reached this conclusion tonight. I can’t be arsed anymore.

But on the plus side. IM GOING TO MADRID WITH WOLAND!!!

A few points:

1) When they went 0-2, the darker part of me was so angry I started to think, go on city put 20 past those useless c*nts.

2) We are still only 1 point behind them, that is effectively our nose up their arse, - no way do we give up just because of tonight, one team they will face has already beaten them, and the other two are just c*nts to play against.

Also - the law of probabilities suggests that they MUST lose / draw at some point, something will give, and it will come as a total surprise a nice one - I HOPE.

3) We need to keep winning, and our biggest challenge will be Newcastle.

Finally - just say this:

HOPE DOE NOT KILL YOU - IT KEEPS YOU GOING !!!!

What is so bitter and horrible about it?

Yes if we come second with such a high points total it will be shit, but nowhere near as shit as being in yet another shit battle for fourth, with every team tripping over themselves to fuck it up, and barely limping over the line. I've been watching that for most of my adult life, and the only thing that motivates me there, is not being in Europa.

I think we may not win anything this season, and that wouldnt be fun, but we still have a double to play for, and thats exactly where I want to be at this point in the season.

And win or lose it would always be some gut wrenching last second thing.

It's Liverpool.

I think the draw at West Ham was costly, but the Leicester one can be excused due to bad weather, Everton coz they are cunts, and our draw against United away - when they were there for the taking.

We really do need to win something to show for this season !!!

This is where I'm at.
Desperately want us to win something but resigned to fact we likely wont. But fuck me it's amazing to be competing at the business end of the table right to the conclusion.

Nah we've been unbelievable this season. We couldn't really do any more. Can't blame any of the players at all.

It just so happens the one time we put together an outrageous league campaign, we come up against a team funded by an oil-rich, trillion pound state. We're seriously never winning the league in my lifetime.

If we don't win it this season - it will be like the memory I have of Brazil 82 !!! - the greatest team to never have won the world cup

Today's result ... makes me so pissed that Salah missed those sitters against Everton, or we bottled it against them at Old Trafford ... They should be chasing us - and we handed them a lifeline Burnley or Leicester ... one of these two will have to give us a helping hand, because these Manc twats belong in the bottom half of the league.

Klopp would say this type of thinking is for idiots who don’t understand football 😉

Burnley will do citeh over.
The score of their last 2 matches is ten nil in City's favour. You can't park the bus against city, they're too good at breaking through. You have to get goals. Leicester will be our best bet now. Burnley will get fucked.

Ah well, Hal might be into something. Just blame us for letting a 7 points lead go and hope someone will do us a favour.

Says the poster on a site called six crazy minutes.

Why get excited about anything that's uncertain - it might not come to pass? You're a mix of pessimism and tedious reverse psychology/juju. If you want to buy into the juju at all, why do it like a lingering damp fog.

Oh yeah, because a load of actual lunatics that still thought we'd win at half time were the reason we won.

It's not that it's uncertain. It's unlikely. Istanbul is still the best day of my life (I include the birth of my child in that!)... and I thought we were gonna get thumped 6 nil. Preparing for the worst is sound and reasonable. Thinking and hoping and believing in a miracle is illogical. The mad thing is believing in the almost impossible. Just because it happens once in a generation doesn't vindicate you. Even a broken clock is right twice a day...

You don't think our support was an actual, objective factor in winning that game?

Narrowly losing at the very highest most competitive level isn't "the worst." Our club was owned by a bank and we had hodgson as a manager.

This is utopia, as he would say.

A fair amount of whinging going on... I also noticed from the poll that over half of us reckoned united would give us some kind of result...

Easy now... keep it calm... I dunno if you've noticed but United are fucking SHITE are were never gonna win points off of City.

As for getting peeved about dropping points at Old Toilet or Goodison... ffs... as it is right now we may well finish on 97 points... NINETY FUCKING SEVEN... and still not win the fucking league IMO aiming whinging barbs at the lads or manager after that is simply put really truly shit supporting. Shit.

Another way of looking at it is If that shot from Mane at the Emptyhad had gone in 1 inch more?

Away at Burnley and Leicester are certainly not gimmes for them at all, their remaining 9 available points are not guaranteed and strange shit really does happen we've got 270 minutes + stoppages to see.

Also we ourselves can't go into the weekend assuming Huddersfield are gonna be too busy licking their wounds to play... IF we can dispose of them then we get a very tricky result away at the Geordies wedged in between Barca's and if we can do ALL of that then it will still go the last game of the season and hopefully Madrid as well.

.... Wolves at home.... that certainly isn't a gimme either is it...

Regardless even if we don't win anything this season I've much MUCH preferred it to scrabbling around simply hoping to finish top four while not actually competing, we've competed this year without a doubt and looking at the remaining fixtures NOTHING is done yet at fucking all, so bollox to lame whinging.

United are utterly shit and bang out of any form and have been for 6 weeks. We knew this before last night, complaining about dropped points when your team is still in it with 3 games left... I dunno...you never know...I'm certainly gonna watch it all.

I don't care if Klopp would call me an idiot but I can't help thinking about Robbo's brain fart in injury time vs Leicester.

Even at that time I already thought it would be costly.

You all know what's coming don't you if we don't win the title this season, even if we win every remaining match ?

Those twittertwits will create memes mocking us about having the most points ever and still end up losers.

I hope for everyone's sanity that we will win the CL as consolation. At least we'll be ready with a comeback for all insults coming our way.
