Spearing was awesome last night - when we're in possession but he's not on the ball he finds space and therefore is always available and always shouting for the ball. When the opposition are in possession he becomes an exocet missile.
 
He also moves the ball around very quickly (and pretty accurately). That's an essential quality in a DM.

Kenny must have touch him with that magic stick and turned him at once into a different player.
If he continues impriving and Lucas keeps progressing we may already have a much better CM squad that we'd thought.

He's due a goal aswell, he's been unlucky a couple of times so far.

I didn't put Flanagan in my top 3 but totally understand anyone who does, he is showing remarkable composure for a newbie and looks very solid and confident.

I didn't put Flanagan in my top 3 but totally understand anyone who does, he is showing remarkable composure for a newbie and looks very solid and confident.

His first touch an his one touch passing is really really nice. Good movement. Shame he shit his bits on the move but he had nowhere to go. I think watching Suarez in that area has raised everyones expectations of a Liverpool players in the area. I almost shouted at the telle "why didnt you just fuckin ave off ten pricks and score you over biten twat" but swerved it at the last split second.
 
suarez MOM for me, no question, apart from that i think i can only look at who didnt have an amazing game

skrtel - as i said in ratings, good squad player, we need better for regular first team action though
reina - didnt do anything wrong at all, didnt really get a chance to do anything right, he's only here because everybody else was outstanding

a little, but his clever movement opened up space for the other players.

His off the ball movement is arguably his best attribute
 
just saw the highlights again and something i forgot about because i was in awe of the players performance was the performance of the crowd, they really were outstanding
 
1. Suarez - best player on the pitch, and there was plenty of competition out there.
2. Maxi - excellent hattrick, unlucky (as others have been this season) to have to compete with Suarez for the award.
3. Johnson - looking once again like the player I've always thought he was.

Lucas heads a list of half-a-dozen or so other players who could also have sneaked third place.

I think what he's been achieving given his youth and inexperience should not be underestimated, but he got a pretty torrid time off Zamora when he came on - which I think will be a great learning experience for him.

Also, I think being over on the left kinda hampered him a little bit, there were a couple of moments where you could see him trying to shift back onto his right and losing the immediacy and momentum of breaks and that
