The CB's passing was awful at times...matip diving in could have been costly too...First chance Robson Kanu had on goal CB's were all over the place.

Surprised no one included Origi in their top 3, I think he was excellent. Led the line well, went past players at will (one of these dribbles led to the free-kick from which we scored) and even scored a goal that was disallowed because Firmino was offside – not Divock's fault.

I don't think Lucas had such a good game personally – the most important thing playing against a Pulis team is limiting their set-piece opportunities and Lucas gave away a few unnecessary ones (the that dangerous throw-in in the first minute and the free-kick from Chadli's chance). Matip made some very nice plays in this game, but also made a few mistakes, even before Rondon turned him, so he misses out.

The psychology that leads people to include Lucas in their Man of the Match selections defeats me. Obviously he was not one of our 3 best players.
