Ming - didn't put a foot, or hand, wrong. Superb,and very important, save at 1-0.
Allen - had an excellent match, passing, tackling, forward runs, twists & turns, we won't miss Lucas too much if he continues to play like this.
Lallana - mainly for the brilliant anticipation for his goal but also his tight control and passing in attacking areas.

Sakho unlucky to miss out after having kept Bolasie quiet all night.

Not sure I understand all these votes for Studge. Bar the goal I thought he was pretty poor today so I tend to agree with the Echo which gave him 6/10 ... joint lowest for any player on the night.

He came out and made a poor connection - either his starting position was not good enough, or he should have attempted to catch or punch the ball out sideways rather than straight on. As such, and despite good saves later on, I am not sure he deserves to be in the top 3.

I don't think the goal was down to Mignolet. Skrtel's header put him in a very difficult position, and TBH I'm not sure how far even Skrtel was to blame as the ball came at him fast and high. Just one of those things IMHO.

Nah. Mignolet isn't at fault at all for me.

His punch wasn't as powerful because gayle went head first in to his gut

To give Michael Owen his due, he did point out Gayle's blatant dives every time he did it. The referee was slow to cotton on to what Gayle was up to, but in the second half he started to ignore the dives.

I almost starting liking Michael for a bit. As he said, players can just about handle opponents making the most of contact, but feigning contact completely goes beyond the pale.

Watched the palace goal again - maybe I am expecting too much, but I think either de gea(starting position) or courtois (strength, reach) would have stopped the goal.

Don't get me wrong he did really well but was arguably at fault for our goal.
