VAR.
Yep VAR - saved us twice did all he could to help us but even his efforts were not good enough. What a player - with Coutinho we would have maybe got one goal from that free kick but with VAR we got a defensive move, and a pen. Can't ask for that -- and he was free this Jan too !!!
Var did save without it we would of been 4 - 1 down

I actually thought Hendo did well once he came on. We seem better structured and he was the one pulling the midfield strings .... or maybe it was just that they sat off us with a 2 goal cushion.
The three subs looked like proper professionals compared to the idiots who started the game. At least they played with a fair degree of discipline and urgency. I felt sorry for Alexander-Arnold - he sometimes has games when he really looks 'spooked,' and that was one of those games, but credit to him for keeping going, albeit with that sad alternation between the pass back inside and the halfhearted cross. Mignolet and Moreno should never play for the club again. Matip is a cowardly character who must be hell to play alongside. I don't know what Mane needs - time off, more time on, a kick up the arse or an arm around the shoulder? - but he needs something quick. A player like that, when everything else in his game isn't working, should at least use his pace, and he doesn't.
