3rd place is a tough one, until we scored I thought Clyne or Milner, but Firmino was our main danger man in the 2nd half and was denied by 2 superb saves and a desperate goal-line clearance.

Yeah I thought Frimino was alright too. A few loose touches but that's rare for him. His touch is usually immaculate. His back heel nearly allowed Mane in. The keeper made two good stops to deny him and he had one cleared off the line. He worked tirelessly and wasn't pushed around. Then again I like Frimino so I saw a lot of play in a positive light.

Dunno if it's just me but Firmino frustrated the shit out of me tonight. Yeah he played 1 or 2 killer passes but other than that I thought he was awful, at least by his standards. Easily our worst player tonight.

Don't agree Neal. He isn't as good on the left as he is centrally but he rarely frustrates me. I enjoy watching him play. I don't think he was easily our worth player tonight either. Lallana was less effective. But different players will have off nights.

I thought he was poor/invisible in the first half, but grew in the game as it progressed. I want to see much more from him though.

Yeah good point about him being on the left. Yeah I definitely thought he had an off night. I'm also a fan of Firmino by the way. I'm not hating on the guy. Just didn't do it for me tonight.
