Suarez
Gerrard
Alberto

Our defenders were also all decent, any of the CBs or GlenJo could have been in 3rd place. I gave it to Alberto though for his fluid passing.

Cissokho
Gerrard
Suarez

Johnson and Hendo did ok too, that's about it.

Another goal for Sturridge but he was otherwise poor today, and I just don't get Moses, he's not good enough.

Cissokho?!

He was the worst player on the pitch.

Suarez
Johnson
Skrtel

I thought Gerrard was dross, and only got man of the match because it was his 100th goal

Amazing how opinions diverge, I thought Cissokho did quite well after a rusty start and provided a real outlet on the left side second half.

My issue is that while Cissokho is a pretty good defensive LB, he offers very little in the final third, much less than Enrique anyways. At best he was mediocre, because while he saw a lot of the ball, he did very little with it. Can't really cross or beat a man, not a ton of linkup play, and his passing is pretty average as well. If he can learn to be effective at holdup play and we get more of a counterattacking push from our midfield, it could work, but I don't see him working out as a wingback.

He got better, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone make taking a throw-in seem that difficult.

Suarez
Gerrard
Cissokho.

Granted I didn't see all of the game, but that's pretty much how it looked for me. That tackle from Cissokho at the end was fucking amazeballs.

I'm surprised by how high Suarez is on everyone's list.

He over complicated everything

Yes but he still got us a penalty and assisted Sturridge's goal.
Wasn't his best performance but I don't think anyone else on the pitch did better than him.

I don't know what game you lot were watching if you thought Cissokho was good.
He was absolute muck today.

This terrible performance that included teeing up Suarez for his shot that hit the bar and a point-saving perfect last ditch tackle. Terrible performance. Don't talk utter cock.

You've voted him as MOTM. That's complete and utter cock. Moses and him were the two worst Liverpool players on the pitch.

What tackle though? My stream died in the last few minutes. But if that's what makes you think he had a good performance, words fail me.

Sissokho looked very nervous at the start, but as the match went on he made more and more of an impact. I thought he looked very promising.
