Im not having all the Mignolet motm stuff by the way.
He made one worldy save and a couple of other routine ones. I think everyone agrees his shot stopping is fantastic.
But those same issues from last season were prevelant again.
His distribution was shit, he had to be screamed at to come out of his 6 yard box, but worst of all his fucking terrible attempts at claiming crosses or punching the ball away. He dropped it time and again in the box, he missed punches again and again.
Hes a really average keeper. Great shot stopper mind you.

I'm not getting the manquillo love - I thought he struggled a bit against Bertrand and tadic.

He'd need to have the passing ability of Gerrard, the dribbling of Coutinho, and the jumping of Michael Jordan to satisfy you lot.

If your expectations for a keeper are this high, I have no idea how any of you tolerated Reina for 2010-2013. He was absolutely awful during that stretch.
 
Mignolet - Match-winning save
Lovren - Composed, error free performance
Sterling - A goal and an assist should at least get you into the top 3.
 
Borderline passenger Gerrard was. I really think this team should have outgrown him by may, regardless of whether he wants to stay or go
 
Ming - a average goalkeeper... Yeah right.

MOTM for me. That last save was as good as you'll see all year in the league.
Seemed confident bar one punch that he collected again.
His distribution has gotten better. It was close to 70% against Soton.
Commanding his area better and saved us 3 points.

People need to start seeing his worth to the team
