A wee shout for smiley Sadio. Fucking love him even if he's not matching Salah for goals, the beautiful bastard.

I do wonder how he'd perform this season out on the right but he's (allege) matched his goal rate for last season?

Just glad we're keeping the front 3 happy.

P.S. fuck Coutinho sitting on the couch for this. Lol

Delighted for him, hes been a bit unlucky this season some of his good performances havent got the goals they deserved. Hes got a bit of stick and even had people suggesting hes in a strop cos Salah is getting all the plaudits. Hopefully this was just the confidence boost he needed to get back to his best form. Hes a nightmare for a defender when hes in top of his game, blistering pace, strong, tenacious, loves running at defenders and hes dangerous with either foot.

I fucking love Sadio.

Remember when we first signed him and every cunt thought we’d been taken to the cleaners by Southampton or that the mancs had gotten a way better player for the same price in Mikiwhatshisname or that or some other such rubbish?

All these doubts were put to bed almost instantly after Big Bad Sadio, the absolute Don that he is, waltzed into the club with an air of confidence which has been lacking from far too many of our players over the past decade, stepped out onto the Emirates pitch on day 1 of the new season, pulled his dick out on the halfway line and proceeded to cock-slap the entire Arsenal defence on his way to scoring one of the best debut goals you’ve ever seen.

Over the next few months he continued to take the piss with his pace and directness being the catalyst for the side transitioning into the deadly counterattacking force that they are today. Before Sadio our attack was made up of players that wanted the ball to feet and preferred coming to collect it. Sadio gave the team a real outlet which helped them stretch the opposition and strike the fear of God into opposition defences.

He hasn’t quite hit the heights this year that he did last but with a strong end to the season he may well end up on 20 odd goals which would be outstanding given that his strong start was derailed by suspension/injury and also the fact that the team is more geared towards Salah getting on the end of things.

It felt last night as though his confidence has returned... Good to see him back...

I don't think he was sulking at all, i just felt he wasn't trusting his legs as much and not running as freely as he used to before he got injured....

His stats don't match up with Mo's but he is now and always has been a fucking good player.

His confidence has definitely been at a low - that was obvious by the way he'd stopped trying to take on defenders and beat them for pace, that was back last night and what a massive boost this should be for him. So happy for him, I've been willing every ridiculous shot he's had to go in for the past few games !

His goal against City was an absolute beauty, the kind he was lashing into the net last season, I think that may have been the turning point in the season for him, a little bit of redemption after that way the game ended at the Ethiad

He stats have been good this season.. It’s just that Mo has been out of this world.
True.

He's also been missing some first touches he'd normally get & taking less risks, until this game that is.

He's back.

We keep these three firing & we end this season on a high.
