Despite being probably his strongest defender on here, even I've never denied that he did not handle his departure well, but he seems to care what people think of him and the way he behaved or he wouldn't bother to keep on about it in the press. Nonetheless I wish he'd just shut up and leave it now. Then we could all do the same.

No, I don't think that footballers make decisions solely based on money. Rooney for instance could have got more money elsewhere. Money plays a big part though.
