Lukaku on the move?

Arsenal have been looking for a replacement for Giroud like forever, they'll need two when Sanchez walks out in the Summer. United may need a replacement for Ibra...., Chelsea don't really need him unless Costa leaves, would they pay 60m for him and dump Batshuayi ? If United get all over Spurs for Kane then that could be a destination for him. PSG is a good call too. Shouldn't be a lack of options.

They can have Sturridge for whatever plus1 pound (the 1 pound deal should happen at some stage!!)

His stats are in Robbie Fowler territory. If he does not "fit" into Klopp system, then I would be more concerned about Klopp.

I think noone has ever asked him to fit into such system. I guess Klopp and his team look for covered distance when monitoring players, but it makes no sense for lukaku to cover 13 K if team average is 7 (made up numbers for illustrating the point only).

Woah, I'd be a bit more cautious throwing about comparisons to Robbie Fowler.

He's a very good finisher, though. No argument there.

Ha, I am not saying he is as prodigious of a talent or as elegant of a footballer as God. Lukaku's productivity though is impressive.

I'd be suspicious of stats, then. Decent player, though. And he won't come to Liverpool, anyway.

He's miles better than Benteke. Or Origi. Fucking miles.
80 Prem League goals and he's only 23.
He's top drawer.

If miles better than Origi then why was he behind Origi in the pecking order in the world Cup?

Actually I'll just pass on this...he will be far too overpriced and comes from a team that was setup to make him score.

Chances are he will not replicate his form here...for the price mooted, I don't think it's a good punt at all. Especially when we no longer have Gerrard who can make this kind of player look very good for us.

His stats when he was at Chelsea will be more likely what he replicates if he played for us.

I recall saying the same about Benteke who was billed as a 1 in 2 goal-scoring machine.

So you'd judge him on 10 games he had when he was 18 over scoring 81 goals in the 5 years since?
Right.

Little point in arguing it. He's not coming here and Klopp wouldn't spend the money it required. There's no doubting his quality though. He will sign for a big club next year and develop further. United would be my best. Ibrah will fuck them off for a huge contract in US/China.
