Liverpool are close to finalising a deal that will send former Sevilla winger, Luis Alberto to Malaga on a one-year loan, which will see the Andalusian side pay a £1 million to the English club, in addition to playing all of the player’s wages.
According to Dominic King of the Daily Mail, Liverpool are expected announced the deal as soon as tomorrow with the 21-year-old returning to La Liga after his 9 match season at Anfield.
Almost exactly a year ago, Sevilla received a £6.8 million for the promising forward after his successful loan spell at Barcelona B, but the youngster failed to crack into Liverpool’s starting line-up, joining fellow Spanish forward, Iago Aspas.
Liverpool are hoping the loan spell under new manager, Javi Gracia will give Luis Alberto consistent minutes and allow him to reach his obvious potential.
