Lucas...

Look, it's not ALL Lucas's fault. Yeh, he's utter shite but he's mnot been alone tonight. The crux of our issue is the two vampires who own the club. I wish they'd die. Painfully,

Is there a more frustrating sight in football than seeing him huff and puff around against players of ability he can only dream of?

Lucas is a good player, he reminds of Platini.

With the match awareness of Cruyff and the physique of Petit?

No, but he's so shit it's almost unbelieveble. I feel sorry for Gerrard...and myself.

Haha a RAWK lurker could be passing by and genuinely think Rosco was being serious.

I didn't see the game tonight, thank god, I don't know if he had a good or bad game. But it's true he is fucking shit. He's not the worst player but he offers ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. At all. I would accept about £5 mil for him if anyone would be stupid enough.

He's kind of a figurehead and the symbol of our demise. Average player, average team.

Jovanovic was fucking awful tonight. Another limited player amongst our attacking options.

They are on a par when you consider their respective playmaking abilities.

But Platini never had the Makelele like reading of the game defensively that Lucas has.

or his passing range and clever give and go flicks.

we lacked;

pace
drive
movement
width
creativity
solidity

you can perhaps lay the blame for a lack of solidity at lucas' door but that's about it, he's a holding midfielder ffs. we were all over the fucking place, anyone who thinks that is purely down to lucas is mad.

N'gog >🙁 What the fuck is this clueless idiot doing in the team?
You should have started an Ngog thread really.

Don't forget his mental attributes. The sheer determination and willingness to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. A hybrid of Keane and Vieira in that respect.

I have always thought that Lucas kopped unfair criticism as he doesn't do a lot wrong.
Unfortunately he doesn't do a lot right either.
In fact he doesn't do very much at all.

He was so fucking invisible tonight he didn't even try and of those half tackles he does.
LOL

Hypothetically speaking, if a large group of people (say 50,000) were to each throw a few pounds into a pot in order to pay someone to commit a serious crime, would they prosecute all 50,000?

I've come to the determination that Lucas plays because he has a very deliberate, earnest sort of way of jogging around without doing anything at all.
What exactly does he fucking hold, Neil?
Our creativity. Unfortunately carra won't let him release it

Another inept performance from our most inept footballer.

Just get this slow brain dead knob jockey off to Palermo as quickas we can flog him there.

That's what frustrated me tonight, the way that he was half-heartedly jogging after the opposition player with the ball, without actually putting in any extra effort to reach them and try and tackle them.

You aren't made of fucking kryptonite son, being in the general vicinity isn't enough to stop them from doing anything, chase the fucker and put your foot either on the ball or down the back of his calf, but for fucks sake do SOMETHING!

He's conserving his energy for those lung bursting runs into the oppositions bo... Oh.

in fact he does nothing at all.nothing zero positive and zero nothing negative he is just on the field .

That was probably the worst centre midfield display ive ever seen from him tonight. It was like watching a child play against three men. It was fucking embarrassing.

But to be really clear about this. Lucas isnt to blame for tonight. Mascherano is.
