What country has a better set of strikers than that?
And is it always the case that the team with the best players does well at the World Cup?

The first answer is I don't know but would be interested to hear what others think.
The second answer is no. There have been some fairly average strikers who have done well in big tournaments

He might nutmeg stevie before unleashing a 30 yard rocket to knock england out.

This would make me happy.

Why not? Fabiano and Robinho score goals at that level and Kaka is a class act.

Is Pato injured at the moment?
Fabiano is a good player - but I don't really see him as a 'great' striker. And Robinho ... well ... he hasn't done much the past few months ...

Pato is on the comeback trail I think.
I believe he has the all time best goals to games ratio for Brazil.
Baros had a nice strike rate for the Czechs too.
Okay, I'm puzzled as to what point you are trying to argue now? I'm saying Fabiano is plenty good enough to lead the line for Brazil. You counter that by pointing out that Baros was good enough to lead the line for Czech republic.......
You've lost me tbf.
a) I never said Fabiano couldn't lead the line for Brazil, I just don't think he's a great striker
b) I just don't think he's the quality they need to win the World Cup -
So the fact he's Brazils best and most reliable goalscorer and scores almost whenever he plays, plus the fact he scores 20+ a season isn't enough to..............oh you know what I don't care enough to bother continuing this.
ok ... we'll see during the tournament.

Have a good night.
No really. I just don't care. Maybe youre right. I just don't care. I realised I was about to get into a long winded technical debate about a player and a team I don't even care about. Lifes too short.
Baros has nothing to do with anything mind you unless you are suggesting that if Pato had played up front for the Czechs they would have won Euro 2004. which is bollocks, but then again I just don't care.

Only 23 in that squad...not allowed 25? If so I'd imagine they'll be having a 3rd keeper and Ronaldinho.

Fabiano scored 9 in 11 games he played in qualifying and is an excelent finisher. They play asame kinda formation as liverpool. 2 holding midfielders in Gilberto and Melo with kaka elano and robinho behind fabiano usually. It'l be something along those lines anyway. Not too shabby. I think they'l win it myself. Hopefully Lucas gets some playing time

you have a good imagination for a school girl.

His block on Anichebe was a match-saving one, but he wasn't the best player on the pitch.

Still, no surprise he's in the Brazil squad. He's a good player.

Me too. Any GIF with Ackbar is a winner.

And good for Lucas. I'd be surprised if he saw much or any time on the pitch but let's hope it's a positive experience for him and that he can build upon it for next season.

I just Googled the good Admiral. I apologise in advance if I post many of his GIFs in various threads over the next several days. I am also very giddy right now.

Given that Lucas has managed to get himself picked for both Liverpool and Brazil it seems improbable that both are flukes.

Good luck to him.

We will never, ever win a meaningful trophy with Lucas as starting XI player

Get used to it.
What if Brazil wins the WC with Lucas starting in almost every match, would that change anything ?

LOL.

He will reply.

He has to reply.

It's what he does.
Hahaha.

I can just FEEL him fighting the urge.
