I meant genuinely I feel bad for you, we all love the team in the same way, and it must suck to hate the players as you do. I hate the manager very very much and find it hard to blame ANY player the way they are fucked around, played out of position, dropped etc. They are never allowed to learn how to play together. It's shite. As for alonso, he was shit. I wanted him gone. Then he got better, prooved me wrong and I admitted it 2 years ago and then sang his praises for 2 years, so I don't know why you insist on bringing it up, if I was funny about it I would stick to my guns and pretend I still thought he was shit. I'm not, I've accepted it and moved on.
Anyway, by all means carry on if it makes you happy.

And just to expand on this point, I looked up the last 5 or 6 games now and in all but one, Maschareno had a better pass completion rate than Lucas and usually made a lot more passes.

This "Masher can't pass" thing is horribly overstated. He's not a creative passer, but let's not go pretending that he's Sissoko in the passing stakes, eh?

Not really, he really struggles when he's carrying the ball and has to pass it to a person other than Lucas, or the defense. Last year, the pass would go to Alonso who would move the ball to wherever. That is why in my 'Lucas or Mascherano' thread, I said ONE can play in the middle (I couldn't give a fuck anymore who it's so depressing watching them together) and be next to a player who can pass the ball 'better' - be it Gerrard or Aquilani.

Largely agree, but would add that even Masher's more ambitious passing is getting better. Against Urine Urziwotsit he was one of very few LFC players spraying it about accurately to try and create an opening. Admittedly the opposition were poor on the night, but that hasn't stopped other players of ours from misplacing passes all over the shop recently.

I posted a while ago about Liverpool signing an experienced attacking player who could act as a catalyst in the team; create chances out of nothing, inspire the players around him, offer us more moments of genius.
Robbie Keane fits the bill.
I'd be delighted and surprised if we signed him.
