Does anyone have Lucas in their best 11?

Seriously? I know people can be quick to say shit like 'Yeah coz you know better than a manager who has won the champions league' etc but in all seriousness. Does anyone rate him?
Dont be scared now because of Brendan, youre safe here. So please honestly what would be your first 11. (and you cant now have Mascherano)

Would it look anything like last night?

-----------------------------------------------------Reina--------------------------------------------------------
Johnson-----------------Carragher-------------------------------Agger-----------------------------Aurelio
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------Poulsen-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------Gerrard------------------------------Cole----------------------------------------
Maxi---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Jovanovic
----------------------------------------------------Torres--------------------------------------------------------

I honestly cant see any reason why i could put Lucas into my team regardless of which of those players was unavailable? I just cant see it. Spearing or Shelvey would have to go in for me.........or Aquilani........Oh!

I don't see which teams he would get in. I mean he's well shitter than any of Fellatio, Artwata et al - and I normally gauge just how shit a player is by wondering if they'd get into the Everton starting 11.

I don't share the Lucas hatred and think he's a decent player with potential to become more useful, but even I wouldn't have him in the first choice 11.

Choosing Spearing ahead of him is just ridiculous though. The idea of Shelvey being better is romantic, but unfounded to date.

What about Babel? Would he be in anyones 11? Ahead of jovanovic maybe?

He was awful against Trabz, but then popped up with a great goal and in 2 minutes he did more last night than everyone else we had on the pitch.

God its awful.

Apart from him being pretty shite i've not nothing against the lad, I just hope we don't see him start for us ever again.

That useless shitbag would not be in our starting line up had Mascherano not bent us over and shat on us.
I honestly dont know mate. In an ideal world i would keep Aquilani and Mascherano but thats not going to happen. So we really will be relying on Lucas as back up at this rate. Hes not good enough. He just isnt. Id be tempted if needs be to play Kuyt in there instead of him.

I'd have Babel on the bench for every game, and bring him on early when we need goals/ to increase the tempo / stretch a tired defence / etc.

I'd welcome both of those players with open arms.
Mate you wont hear any arguments from me. Im not blaming Lucas for last night at all. Im saying why have succesive managers given him time of day? Poulsen was fit last night, and im no Poulsen fan but how could he be worse?
Poulsen is far from match fit though..
Ok so theres a 50/50 in the middle of the park. Its being contested between Lucas from last night and Poulsen from the Trabzonspor game. Who wins the ball?

Exactly.

He's been just as shit as he was last night ever since he's been here.

There's nothing there.
There never has been.

He's a useless shitbag, and I find any attempt to justify his existence infuriating

God knows why Poulsen wasn't played.

But I'm at least going to give Roy the benefit of the doubt and assume that Lucas was played because he was the only viable option.

Again, as I stated in the 'Plan b' thread, only a cretin would not realise that the team fielded against City was Roy's "Plan b" - hence why it wasn't particular good.

I don't get this 'not playing Poulsen because he's not match fit business'.

If he's not match fit, he needs games!

Okay, maybe you don't want to start with him, but after we're getting spanked what's the worst that can happen? We'll lose?

Brendan, aside from Ryan, you wont find many Lucas lovers on this site.

Perhaps you should take your frustrations to RAWK, cause it's falling on deaf ears here.

Without Mascherano, this is our best team. But we won't see it at all or until after December.

----------------------Reina----------------------
Johnson-----Carra------Agger--------Kelly

I'd be happy if he plays this till he realises Jonjo is good enough:

What about Dirk Oncy?

Are we resigned to going?
I hope not Anita and i dont mind Dirk and Maxi or Dirk and Babel etc but Dirk and Jova is fucking agricultural shite and i never want to see it again.

Behave Terrier, check the threads about Lucas, he's had loads of support on here for a looooong time
Ha...I don't even open them anymore, so I don't know what the consensus is today in the 6CM bi-polar loon asylum.

However, I've always been under the assumption that 90% think he's dogshit - with a few valiant defenders who usually end up getting a wave of abuse.

Like Saint George I have stayed pretty quiet about Lucas.
I have always wanted him to come good and I have tried to support him and in some cases defend him due to his age and his willingness to stand up to all the negativity he receives.

The fact of the matter, and it should be clear as day to everyone who watches us, is that he is NEVER going to be good enough to be a regular starter for a side that wins leagues/trophies. No team on earth can carry a passenger that heavy and win things. No team. The only positive is that he hasn't been in the starting XI for either of the first two league matches until Mash threw his toys out of the pram yesterday.

How much did we pay and who scouted him?
Shocking that the useless shitbag won the same Brazillian awards as Ronaldinho, Kaka and co isn't it?

Harking back to another of my threads about Benitez signing players who need *exactly* the right formation, and combination of players around them in order to function to a basic required level of performance (ie needing a 15 man team ideally), the likes of lucas, Aquilani, Insua are perfect examples.

The Cunt can look 'all righht' if he has two quality CMs with him, because it disguises the fact that he doesn't do anything much
