Like everybody else, I just about lost it when that ball somehow crossed the line - Actually sank to my knees in disbelief and relief. Haven't done that since Guddjonsen missed that sitter with the last kick of the '05 semi-final... Simply couldn't believe that it went it.

About 90 minutes later, when my pulse had returned to something resembling normal, I re-watched the important parts of the match, and noticed a few things that I hadn't seen properly as it happened live:

He's not a sexy choice and I too was scratching my head when he was brought on with such little time left and so much at stake, but Origi played very well in the 10 minutes that he had... he both started and finished the move that led to the corner, and that's a few times now that he's come on and made a big, important difference in a big, important match. Fair play to the lad - He's helping the cause.

Trent didn't exactly break his arse to get back and mark Moura in the build up to their equalizer, did he? From the moment that free kick is taken, he's already out of position AND he's only jogging back, when the Spurs midfielder are swarming forward... Not impressed with that effort at all.

That ball was moving. Ref saw it. Did nothing.

And what a clearing header that was from Harry Kane, just seconds before our winner... In his own six-yard box, surrounded by attackers - Virgil would've been proud of it. Shame it was all for naught about 7 seconds later, eh? 😉

I like his drive as an impact sub - he's playing well on the left which is a nice option as it allows Mane to get into the middle.

I enjoyed big Virg tatting the ball over the stadium roof when we scored the winner. Ball must still be in space

Origi is limited, clearly, but as a sub Klopp is really making the most of those skills he does have. Namely workrate & pace/power when running.

He's just a complete PITA for tired defenders to deal with & makes their life difficult plus makes it more likely for the other forwards to have a bit of extra space.
