So I'm off to Australia on Wednesday and yet again have to deal with the massive ball ache that is a long haul flight. I fucking hate flying anyway and have to do the Oz trip to see the in-laws once a year. While it's nice to see them the trip over is like pulling teeth. This time it's going to be even more fun as we are travelling with a 5 month old baby. God knows how that is going to pan out but he's a good nipper and sleeps ok so fingers crossed.
Anyone have any tips on how to ease the long haul pain? So far the best I've done is max out my ipad with stuff I want to watch but any other tips would be ace.
Oh and in the past I usually bosh a mild sedative and merrily sleep though it all but with the little 'un with us I can't bitch out so easily. The good news it's with Singapore Air which is great and it's a night flight so with any luck I might snatch a few hours kip. 13.5 hours though first up and then 8 hours after that..... Ugh!
