I don't really care about the team or the game but I'd just like to see Aquilani start and see what he can do. Can't believe I'm saying I want to see what Aquilani can do with three games to go in the season.

Rafa will be slightly concerned the West Ham fan might blow a bubble in the vicinity of his ankle.

In fact I'd be surprised if he let him out the house wikth all the volcanic ash floating about the place.

I have a feeling that Aquilani hasn't been exactly "straining at the leash" either. I'm beginning to suspect he's an invertebrate.

I think if anyone offers even a 'resonable' amount of money for him we'll snatch their arm off.

What's "reasonable" though? We'd be lucky to get £10-12m for him. (Which I would take).

I absolutely would not.

He's had a mare of a first Season here but it's obvious there's talent present. HEes still young-ish and as such I wouldn't write him just yet especially not at a loss at this stage.

Can he stay clear of injury and hit the ground running from the start of next Season we could still have a real player on our hands.

that's reasonable. you may as well take that money and put it towards a player who will play more than 3 games a season. an absolute disasterous signing by rafa.

If someone offered us 15 mill for Aquilani, I'd take it. 3 mill loss I can live it.

But, if he's to be sold, I'd want either Veloso, Moussa Sissoko or Martinez as his replacement.

I would agree that this is the way forward, but rumour has it that the Bellend might play, and Masher won't.

I would also be less than surprised if Eggnog started.

I'd much rather have Javi Martinez than Aquilani. If we sell Aquilani and get Javi for around the same price, or even slightly more, then we should do it.

Pretty much. I've praised his attitude in the past for not criticising Benitez - but there hasn't been been much of an indication that's been desperate to play the last few months either. Benitez's comments that the medics cannot locate anything wrong with Aquilani and that it might, in fact, be a mental problem is worrying to say the least.

This has nil all written all over it.
I can't wait for the season to be over.
Nah mate.

I reckon that now forth is gone the shackles will be off and we will coast to a 1-0 win.

We'll win about 5 nil cos I can't go
Poor Sunny.
You have had to suffer through a hell of a lot of shit this season.

Not so much suffering as had the life sucked out of me. I pray to God that next season is better, I do. This season has been a clusterfuck in so many ways - I'm sick of hearing about us in the media.

N'Gog up front. Aquilani on the bench. Wow, we can afford to have a 20 million quid player on the bench. Skint?

Dirk Kuyt returns to Liverpool's starting line-up in the absence of the injured Fernando Torres against West Ham United at Anfield tonight - a game you can listen to live online from 8pm.

The Dutchman will support David Ngog in attack, while there are also starts for Lucas Leiva and Yossi Benayoun.

Javier Mascherano, Alberto Aquilani and Ryan Babel drop to the bench.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Kyrgiakos, Agger, Maxi, Gerrard, Lucas, Benayoun, Kuyt, Ngog. Subs: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Babel, Mascherano, Degen, El Zhar, Ayala.

This is getting beyond a joke now. If playing at home against one of the least aggressive, more passing oriented teams isn't suited to Aquilani, what the fuck is?

Great, Benyanoon on the left again. Way to nullify one side of the pitch Rafa.

For fucks sake.
