got to feel sorry for ngog the midweek hero who didn't even get a single minute.

Bah, we have a squad and we use them, Voronin didn't get a look in though the week, it was his turn today.

All the back up players need Match fitness, and a run out, just to keep them happy.

Wow what goal laden match! Torres was just awesome and took his goals well and that just goes to show that how class he is. Can you believe they are saying he hasn't hit his best form yet! All I think is that he is getting to his peak form and I do understand his initial desire not to be rested and play every game. The more time he spends on the pitch the more he horns his skills and perfects them. Watch out for Torres this season...8 goals and counting! YNWA

Watch the goal highlights;

good confidence builder. you know its your day when voronin looks good and babel scores 2, one probably offside and the second, well what can i say. the gerrard goal seemed a cross from where i was also, but then you make your own luck.

carra should have stayed where he was when we conceded our goal, he really needs to start to trust those around him.

looking forward to the highlights, so much seemed to happen in the second half and it was a lot to take in.

Excellent from the lads today, Hull really are fucking shit and they will catch many a fucking beating if they keep this up.
Torres was unplayable today, he was sensational.
If he stays fit, and can keep anything like this form up, we will be right there come May.

Touching a forrest of oak, he hasn't looked hampered by his hamstrings this season. His early season just seemed to be a more general post-Confeds cup malaise. He's fucking amazing, and you're right, Torres in this form for the majority of the season and we'll be right in the mix.

I'm not a Babel herald however he was absolutely not offside and that flick was a trick ..... worth trying at the time and it came off, so we have to give credit where it's due. He had an excellent game once he came on and if he played with that much commitment, & even half of what he showed against Hull, every week then there wouldn't be any complaints on this board.

What Carra is up to I don't know - he came in behind Skrtel and actually pushed him in the back (maybe the difference between a clean header and the skied one that resulted).

don't think it effected the header at all but it really is besides the point. You can't be head butting your cb partner and be drawn out of position just to cover him even when the ball isn't dropping to him off the first ball anyway.

I also don't see why we can't do a hybrid of zonal and man like fulham do, but that is more than beating a dead horse. I hate that stupid line across the 18-yard box line.

I imagine its a little bit early to start a thread yet but..... just watching the Torres interview...... it crossed my mind like..... IF we win next week.... blimey.
