Reversed. Good call. VAR finally got one right.

Even after first couple replays I thought it was a penalty. Took the sideline view for me to see no contact.

This ref is acting like an Italian who's been bribed by the mob. He's a fecking idiot. He's booked Williams whilst ignoring multiple similar cases, and then he tried to give a pen for THAT.

I'm surprised the ref whistled rather than just played on until Wolves equalised.

Bad luck, Modo, the great champion of young players, Williams is still on by half time. Boohoo.

Wolves stats for 1st half in the Prem League are crap so expect more from them in the next 45.

So Coady blatantly dives and gets no yellow?

There's literally no downside to diving in the box then? Either get a penalty or get nothing.

We seemed somehow nervous in the first 20 minutes and had no control, but since the goal Wolves barely approached our goal, bar the "penalty." Interesting that we started with Hendo at DM and after 10 mins or so, he switched positions with Gini. The commentator said this was probably to offer extra protection to Neco, but I think he got exactly backwards. This was an attacking move; Neco is staying deeper than Trent normally does and doesn't produce anywhere near as many crosses – so Hendo going to the RCM was a way to engineer some of the attacking threat from the right wing. A lot of the time, Salah would actually come infield, leaving Hendo high up on the right. A final confirmation of this being an attacking move is that as soon as we went ahead, Hendo and Gini switched their positions back.

For all the continuing doubting Thomases here, Neco has looked very good this half. I'd still like TAA to come on ASAP so we are not taking any chances on a 2nd yellow.

He has defended well and offers an outlet, but not really anything to any portion of the attack.

Troare now on the left up against Neco on a yellow. Hope we can get TAA on soon.

Williams is a bit impulsive.
