Klavan was decent.

If only he could receive the brilliant advice that being better in attack and defense would benefit his team. I'm sorry, I'm trivializing it, it's more specific than that... he should buy a REALLY REALLY good striker. Make sure not to tell the other managers that one, or such a player would surely be in demand!
And a good keeper, a quality centre-half, a good defensive midfielder and another attacking midfielder with pace who can take Firmino's place in the team.
It's quite simple.

I thought the performance was ok, there was a lull in the latter part of the 1st half that allowed them 2 goals and some horrific individual errors. 2nd half was a lot better in performance but just couldn't the final ball or shot in.

It wasnt a bad performance, just a couple of points let us down.
Karius should have done better with both goals. The first one especially. that postion was awful. Dead centre you stand in the centre.
Our finishing was awful, why not give woodburn a punt for the final 15? Also Firmino looked shattered. Ejaria could have had a chance. I'm not saying both, but one of them deserved a shot when it was obvious after 20 shots we could only get 3 on target something needed freshening up.
But apart from that, i'm not going to grumble. Was a wicked deflection for Matip on the 2nd goal. We hit the bar. Their keeper pulled off a wonder save from Henderson.
Lets just hope the next game has Klaven and Matip at the back.

Well that was bit of a shit sandwich. I took a bite and now have to wait 24 hours until it gets removed from my bowels. 🙁

I don't get why they didn't try testing the keeper from distance a bit. He looked every bit as shit as ours, that save from Henderson was pure Shay Given hollywood anyone should have got it. Firmino was crap and should have been subbed for that Woodburn kid after 60. Milner was fucking great. Lallana did a Lucas for their free kick. I sat there next to my mate saying Payet was gonna hit it to the left and what's the keeper doing doesn't he watch match of the day and then it was in. Can't say the crowd did anything to help. Flat as fuck. Henderson hit about four brilliant forward passes that split their defence, which made you wonder why he hit another six hundred sideways when the game could have kicked forward. Mane won every header he jumped for... ace technique, he jumps a milisecond before you expect him to and gets ahead of people much taller than him. Origi was even money to score anytime and I was thinking it was a dead cert and should be backed but didn't. Brainfart but that's what I took from it all. Again you can't look at the attack when you score two goals at home. That's enough to win if your defence and goalie aren't a problem.
Hell fucking yes.
