But they wont. They'll sell again and struggle. It's what they do. I hope they hold onto Ings but he will be in massive demand this summer.

You are probably right, and that is what pisses me off about some teams. Aren't they all getting a fat check from the premier league? Go buy a few players and see how far you can go.

If they do sell, i hope Hassenhuttl walks. He's a really good manager and should be at a team where ownership supports him.

To be fair, they stuck by him when they were in the relegation fight earlier this season. It goes both ways. They're a club that is cautious not to go too far, too fast. I wouldn't mind seeing them continue to slowly build. Provided they keep selling their best players to us, of course.

Well fuck me.

That was as hard as I expected yet we still won four nil.

As I said before, this is why teams don't attack us anymore.

Some describing the first 45 as our worst half of the season. Never really got out of 2nd gear in the next 45.

Still win 4-0.
Unbelievable team and season.

21 points to 94. City's max points are 93. So 7 more wins out of 13 games and we have it. We'll we definitely cannot be relegated and I think we have qualified for the ECL already? Kammon you reds! Kammon. YNWA

Firmino with two sublime assists, Salah with 2 goals and Hendo with a goal and assist.
But despite all that, Van Dijk man of match for me. Rock solid the entire game.

Firmino's contribution in the second half should not go unnoticed. First goal only happened because of his flick back to Oxlade-Chamberlain, I am not taking anything away from a great strike and that is one hell of a shot by Ox, but Firmino's flick took the defenders out of the game and allowed Ox to get into that position he likes to unleash that shot. His assist to Henderson gave us the second goal, controlled the ball, muscled the defenders off the pitch and slotted the ball to Henderson's path. The third goal, it was Henderson's assist, but see where he was. Firmino saw the ball and went towards it, he acted like he's about to head the ball but ducked in mid-air, threw his marker off completely. Fourth was his assist again.

So for me - Firmino is my man of the match.

Salah has suddenly become unselfish! What a team. What players we have. All 14 of them who played today.

Huge second half.

Salah looks happy now Mane isn’t threatening him as top goal scorer.

Couldn’t care less of Ox is poor as long as he keeps getting big goals and that was a huge goal.

7 to go!

Everton down can't catch us. 1 more win (i think) and we guarantee CL for next season even before we play Atleti

Bobby, Mo, Hendo and VVD were all great for me, too many others were really rushed and just not in control, constantly turning over possession. If a game really demonstrated why we will be champions, this was it. We played badly at times but are just so fucking lethal and can rely on so much recovery from VVD and Gomez, that we still somehow managed to keep a clean sheet and make the scoreline look like we murdered them. We didn't, but what we did well was absolutely up there with the best title winners.

I find us really difficult to describe this season, because we've slowly evolved from being an explosive "we'll score more than you" side, to this efficient machine that just has goals and talent everywhere, without ever really 100% demolishing teams in the usual way with sheer dominance. We've dominated teams and won 1-0, we've struggled to control games and won 4-0. Players can have an off day and others will step up, that's what champions do.

Too many times in the past we relied too much on our best players, this season everyone has stepped up at various times when needed.
