This half has been one of the most inept attacking performances by LFC in recent years. We’ve created fuck all. A big improvement needed in the 2nd half.

Fantastic cross but a really really shit header. Why the fuck was he trying to flick it on ? He was close to the back post anyway - just a simple header back the way it had come with the pace it had on it.

Thoughts
1) Hope Fabinho's injury is something minor ... Looks like a hammy pull/strain
2) Shaq is so creative with the ball at his feet - I feel he should be more central and try to dictate the play more.
3) Minamino is having a terrible game.
4) Everytime I see Divock on the left, I still wonder why we haven't given him more games in the middle - it's just a waste of his talent.

The front three have had very poor control, esp. Minamino and Jota. It hasn't been helped by little creativity from midfield. None of Shaq. Hendo or Milner have distinguished themselves in that dept. and Robbo has been tied up by Dreyer.

4) Everytime I see Divock on the left, I still wonder why we haven't given him more games in the middle - it's just a waste of his talent.

Because in our system you need some playmaking ability to play in the middle and Divock doesn't have that. He's been the best of the front 3 so far, he's not the main problem in this game.
