I'm watching a game where we are winning every ball in midfield, where Milner is causing constant trouble and one I have every confidence we will win comfortably

It’s a bit of both, we’re winning every ball but not using it well.

Agree with the confidence though.

Good for you. What channel is that on?

Unbelievable greed from Mane

The game could be over.

I've noticed he's been getting very greedy lately. I really think it's because of all the attention Salah is getting (and the fact they're both competing for African Footballer of Year, and Mane was a shoe-in before Salah came to Liverpool).

A few players arses have been saved by salah genius. The ox is playing like someone you would put into the team to make the numbers up for a game. A few aimless runs, standing around and no one passing to him and a few wayward shots. He has coasted the first half.

Weird half that.. Everton were beyond poor. We have been average, but only 1 up.

Henderson has been ok, but the tempo slows when it goes through him. Watch.. Everyone else one touch, pass. One touch pass.. Instinctive. Henderson its one touch, look up. One touch. Look again. Then pass. He's a player bereft of confidence. Ox has been quicker but also more sloppy.

Gomez better of the full backs, although most the play gone through the left wing.

Weird weird derby game this.

Salah"s goal would be considered a brilliant one if Everton weren't such a shite team.

I think Ox has been fine and Solanke quite good. The midfield and front line look disjointed because there is no space. Everton is so deep and the front 8 are all on top of each other half the time.

That should improve as Everton venture forward for an equalizer and breaks like the one we just missed should reappear.

Unless Sam tells them that losing 1-0 wis actually a moral victory. And, I could see that happening.

Don't get the solanke hate today. We set out for strength to hold the ball up, but we've not been playing central to him and crosses from deep have been poor

He's still linked very well

Its exactly this reason. He and Coutinho are not fav's anymore and he is not taking it very well. He might just lose his spot when lallana comes back if he doesnt grow up. Klopp has already had a word.

Indeed, although I think Firmino would have been better suited to this game as he has a bit more invention about him, I think Solanke has been fairly decent with the little he's been allowed to do.
