Liverpool winning league, Tiger winning Masters ... next thing my cock will start acting like an 18 year old again
Hmmmm Cool. I love it when my cock starts acting like an 18 yr old. Petulant, Stupid and takes way more LSD than is good for it. Never underestimate the potency of a purple ohm! 😉

Sadly I think they are right even if they didn't get it.

We will trip up on one of our games. My expectation is we are going to lose on goal difference, the most heart breaking of all over a (magnificent) season

Magnificent - yes it is just that, I think losing on goal difference will be a heart breaker of the highest degree, I still have this glimmer of hope that the pressure and burden will get to city but if we don't win it - and we don't win even after we win every single remaining game then at least we can say we tried everything. But I tell you what - I would be at a loss for next season as to what to expect from LFC, everytime in our recent history we have challenged in a season and come out winning nothing - it has been the case the following season is a complete disaster. Also I really wonder if Klopp can motivate the same players to do what they have done this season - the fucking mental drain this will cause.

In all honesty if we were still leading by a point with games even, I think the likelihood of fucking it up would be greater because right now it appears our boys are better at playing as the underdogs knowing they have to win to keep up rather than knowing they have to win to maintain a lead of one/two points.

Yeah, I think that would be the case if we had to play Chelsea and Spurs still.

But with the games we have left now, I think it's the perfect time to retake the lead. I can't see us fucking it up and bottling it if City slip up. And I think they know that.

So now the pressure is on them. Will they bottle it?

For the first time in some weeks, I think all the pressure is on them going into those 3 games next week (Spurs, United, Burnley).

This place is gonna be fucking horrendous when City win the league. I genuinely think people might top themselves.

I’d be ok with that as they’d have had an absolute phenomenal run. I still think this run of games (Spurs, Man U and Burnley) will see them drop between 2 and 5 points.

Our run is great and the way the games fall is brilliant. Play Wednesday, Sunday then Friday. A nice gap between games.

Out of our remaining games the Newcastle one frightens me the most. Yes, we all know Rafa would actually love us to win it, but he is too much of a professional to do anything but send out a team to compete and be very difficult to beat.

Agreed, but they will probably be safe from relegation when we meet them, and that usually sees teams drop a few percentages in effort.
That will happen regardless of Rafa I think.

It's ok Pat - you don't have to curse them out, I know it's tough to you. Hope your interview went well.

Ha ha. It’s digusting how consistent they have been. To pick up over 180 points across two seasons with 5 games to go is insane.

Interview went well I think. Cheers

I reckon he'll drop one of Almiron/Perez and put on a plodder which is about as much as he can do. Maybe an 'enjoy the curtain closer for St James Park' rather than sending them out with intensity.

Cardiff aren't dead yet - they will be the biggest challenge of the 4 I think.

United have gone shit so we can no only hope for Spurs to still have some fight left after whatever the CL brings.

They have but they need the points for top4, its a derby which makes it a little bit more valotile and by the time they play City it will be the only bit of pride they can salvage from the season.

I won't be too down tbh, this side we have is one of the best the premier league has seen in a decade, and it's all geared up to go again next season. The only reason we won't win the league this season is because we've come up against all the oil wealth of a small country, and we're only going to fall one point short. This team of ours is fucking incredible, It'll be an injustice to football if we don't win something, but if we don't, brush ourselves off, try again next season, we've already struck fear and respect into all the bitter little fans across the country, and they'll hate seeing us back doing it again come August.

United will have some players back for that game, and hopefully they'll get the rub of the green at home. Some dodgy penalty and offside decisions etc.

The only thing I'll hate is the opposition fans & media response to it, but even that's ok, cos that's how it's meant to be, they're afraid & jealous of how strong we are, this was meant to be another citeh procession, & we've made damn sure it hasn't been.

United were pretty poor last year too when they beat them 3-2.
They'll come to get points - they cannot afford not to with Chelsea still left to play too.

Yes that top 4 spot is what will keep united going. Could expect a draw, even the Spurs game but the only issue i have is what City did to Chelsea, i can see them do exactly the same to Spurs. But Spurs will want to finish 3rd so maybe that keeps them going.

Let's hope Arsenal win tonight.

One thing that will always keep a Spurs team honest is the fear of finishing below Arsenal.

Oh! I missed the memo that the league is awarded based on performance over two seasons.
Yes, the 2 season line was laid out by Guardiola after the Palace game. What the fuck is that about, other than making a comparison with us? I'm quite happy for them to have the biannual points trophy so long as we win the 2018-19 league trophy.
