We're really missing Bobby. Kante has been all over us, with Pedro as well disrupting. All of our defenders have been really passive.

Klopp always resorts to an industrious midfield in the big games, but there are times when they can just be outclassed. Chelsea have managed it fairly easily. Our middle are chasing shadows and the defence is getting cut to shreds.

Fuck knows what the gameplan was but it's failed completely at the moment. They're managing to cause us all sorts of problems with about four players and still keeping their defensive shape so when we do counter attack we're still outnumbered. I haven't seen our full backs be so little of an attacking threat for a long time and can someone tell our midfielders that they're allowed to tackle as none of them have got near the Chelsea midfield so far. He needs to take Chamberlain away from the left wing as he hasn't been in the game apart from 1 pass to Salah.
The amount of ball watching from our players has been staggering and no cunt has gone with the runner just like the Norwich game when they had far more chances than i was comfortable with. We look so square at the back it's worrying.

This team has a pretty set structure in terms of playing style - the midfield provides only industry, whereas the attack is made by the two full-backs, Firmino as the fulcrum and two wing-forwards.
We've abandoned that structure today - playing a CB at right full-back and a midfielder at left-wing forward. And of course Firmino is missing.
The result is no attacking fluency whatsoever.
