Mane tho..
He's second defo.

Lallana was fucking EVERYWHERE though, he was back defending, he was bailing out Can in the middle time & again, he was collecting it from the CB's & FB's when they were under pressure, & he was bombing forwards too creating chances.

In the last two minutes he made a chance & two runs, then about thirty seconds later he was down by our area & blocked a great chance on the left hand side.

Amazing.

So now we have a three-way split

It's not that simple. City have a game in hand vs the scum and Spurs are chokers. For me, it's...

City will walk 2nd, Spurs have got to be a very good bet for Top 4 now since they are out of the EL and only have 5 games against Top 10 teams remaining. We look the better bet to join those two and Chelsea, United have tough games to come and Arsenal still have 8 games against Top 10 teams.

Against the Top 7 United clearly have the most to do :
United left to play: Everton(H), Soton(A), Chelsea(H), City(A), Ars(A), Spurs(A)
Arsenal has to play : City(H), Spurs(A), Utd(H), Everton(H)
Liverpool has to play: City(A), Everton(H), Soton(A)

Yeah, but is having to play less top 6 sides an advantage or a disadvantage for us?

Impossible to predict at this stage. We should be favourites on paper but it means fuck all.

Klopp has to deliver it otherwise the season is a write off and summer recruitment will be harder.

Yeah, the hopeful part of me is thinking that the reason klopp hasn't invested heavily isn't lack of financial backing from the owners, but a calculated gamble, that he can get this side into the cl without spending loads, & then have more to spend when we can attract the highest level of player as we're in the CL.

If, IF, that is what's happening, & IF we qualify, it might be a masterstroke. Definitely a gamble though.

Eee, its going to incredibly tight from 2nd to 6th, we could finish anywhere between those two positions i think. Id imagine 4/5th is the most likely.

Given how we will play fewer games than everyone else in the top 6 between now and the end of the season quite simply HAS to make a difference.
