Good question. I doubt you'd have to go back as far as Neal....Lawro....Hansen....Kennedy but I'm struggling to think of a British back 4 since then. Maybe there was one featuring players such as wright, Ruddock, Rob jones, Nicol etc but I'm probably overlapping eras and bjorneby probably featured regularly with 3 other British defenders. I'm pissed so hope that makes senses.
