Liverpool name their valuation for Studge

I also said £7m for Stewart and the press are now reporting the club want £10m. I said the market is fucked, and my valuations I don't think are way off.

How can he 'ponder' his future? What the fuck are his options? Sit in the stand for us or sit in the stand for someone else? You'd have to be seriously fucked in the head to pay 40M for him. He'll go somewhere on loan till he can leave on a free.

If we were about to spend £40 million on buying him from someone, I'm not sure I would feel overly happy about that.

After the Carroll debacle, I'm amazed if West Ham are seriously interested in getting another crocked high wage earner on their books. But we should deffo hold out for a big sum. He'll still get an England call up the next time he's even vaguely fit, and in terms of quality he's superb. Clubs will either have to take a gamble or not, but they can't buy him as some kind of liability, they'll have to buy him as a top quality striker.

He's likely to be just as injured at a new club so he'll be wondering why take a paycut for it. The club will have to top-up his wages were we to find a buyer, which complicates negotiations. I don't think its guaranteed he's leaving permanently TBH. Like you say, a loan looks most likely.

It just means you don't get chancing pricks like Palace or Newcastle throwing a £15m bid in.
£25-30m on the table and we'd take that all god damn day!

Not sure what Oxlaide-Chamberlain is meant to be doing but Arsenal may as well be a man down for the all that he's doing,

To be fair to him, Wenger has started him as right wing back, and he's effectively been a right back in the first half.
Which is pretty pointless.
Yes. Although, with the ball, he's still quite ineffective. Overhit crosses and first time passes to nobody.

it's funny how city/chelsea/united would easily value him at around that if they had him but we're laughing at our team for valuing him at that (because of injuries etc)

why not value at that? who cares if he's worth it or not, some chinese club will see it as a great deal and want him as a high profiler. clubs like west ham would probably pay 25-30m on him anyway!
