So glad we didn't buy anyone
It's a sucker because so many points dropped around us and we could have gone 2nd, but still Spurs and Arsenal dropped points to Sunderland and Watford whilst we held Chelsea, the titles gone, but with Europe coming up for Arsenal, Tottenham, City and United, the top three, which has to be our priority, is very achievable.
Henderson was immense. How that idiot on tv picked Luiz is beyond me. On a side note I've always thought Clattenburg (even though I hate his face) was a decent ref but he was a fucking joke tonight. No foul for that ref, Costa bought that spot kick and one of their defenders flattened Origi from behind with about 90 seconds to go and he gave nothing.
Well I enjoyed that game. A win would have been nice but great signs moving forward.
Klopp is taking a fair bit of stick in recent times but he got that right, we came out for the second half fired up and played at a much greater tempo.
Much better tempo, intensity and attitude. The lack of confidence showed in way too many passes backwards rather than forwards, but this will do them good. As for Clattenberg, with his Charades-style gestures and his stupid decisions, I hope he never refs these games ever again.
If only we could be fired up like that in every game.
Feeling disappointed because we made Chelsea look pretty ordinary and the overall effort was worth the three points, if not for some lapses of concentration in defense and attack. On the other hand, we could have easily lost this game if Costa didn't miss the penalty, so draw is probably fair.
I thought Henderson was magnificent, he got first to every ball in midfield today, won most challenges and also created the goal. One of the best midfield performances of the season from one of our players.

Agreed. I was quite surprised how rattled Lovren looked towards the end. Giving the ball away several times and just looked scared. Matip was hit and miss which is more natural given his absence.
Better performance from both Can and Gini in the second half.
Thought Wini and Henderson were both excellent. Can was much better than he has been - moved the ball quickly and positively and made some positive runs of his own. If he only could have gotten his head on one or two of Henderson's crosses.
I thought Coutinho and Lallana were poor with the ball, but pressed extremely well.
Firmino was brilliant, except for his misses. If you could combine his movement and effort with Sturridge's finishing ability.....Big IF

We were the better team but didn't do enough to win it. A draw was probably a fair result.
Same old problems trying to break teams down. I thought the front 3 were pretty non existent.
Mignolet did great to save the pen but he's still a shit thick cunt constantly putting us under pressure with his underhit passes.

Mane, didnt do alot but you could tell the difference he made, he have firmino the confidence to actually make a run in to the 6 yard box when a player is out wide.

That midfield 3 of Henderson, Can and Wijnaldum just doesn't work. Can needs to get the shepherds hook and someone more creative putting in there.

Watch the run we hit now. Much much fewer games which means fresher legs and more training time with Klopp and finally a pretty much full eleven to field.
