Close enough, I thought the blue on the collar going down with the black was red though.
 
Red, white or black for hoe and away kits IMO, I can be doing without some ghastly yellow nowadays. I like the 3rd kit if it's real, it's very continental somehow.

i like it and shows a proper nod to our history. like the flash of red on chelseas shirt, its not a bad thing to respect our past, even if its little to do with our present

Anyway it looks like something city would wear, don't like it.

I do like the idea of doing what Arsenal and Man U did by bringing back the old kit they used to wear. Maybe sometime in the future.

no, it was LFC's first strip, blue and white halves like blackburn i think, although i'm sure i've heard it described as quarters like bristol rovers before as well. i'm not actually sure when it changed, before the 1920s i'd guess.

for some reason i don't like the idea of clubs reverting to previous strips like arsenal did. i'm not even sure why, tbh, it just seems a bit pointless really. i know the club was successful really pretty much throughout its history (in terms of having won a lot of trophies compared to contemporaries) but for me the club as i identify it was born in the 60s with shankly, and it was then we changed to all red. i think i might like a strip referencing that period, but the early history of the club just seems totally remote to me.

My confusion comes from you saying you found it attractive, but then stating that the blue was a bit shit.

And which "last dark grey one" are you talking about ? I don't remember us having a shirt in that colour.

Oh, "Phantom" is just an Adidas colour name, eg, Airforce Blue and Fairway Green.

I like the 3rd kit;but I don't much like the idea of having blue on our kit, even if I do think the shirt looks attractive.

I'm talking about that phantom thingy, it's not really dark black, more like a dark grey....but I'm bad with colours.

I see United have a new home kit coming out. Anyone know why? I thought this was the first year they had this one, and they could only change it every 2 years?

i think a lot of clubs change their home kit every year now, there's no rule against it. chelsea have definitely changed theirs the last 3 or 4 years as well. we'll probably start having to do it too soon just to compete.
