'When I was there I did feel a lot more pressure than here':'
He's right. It means more to us, and matters more across the footballing world. Is that his point?
But what he hasn't thought about is that when we win it he will not be part of the biggest party ever seen in English football.
Citeh fans are dull - they had just won a cup on Sunday, bur instead of being upbeat the crowd at Wednesday's match was massively subdued
They areThat's because they're a load of FIFA generation bellends spoiled by bought success, more cretins who think domestic cups are worthless.
Zabaleta is at it too. Can't be arsed linking, it's on the bbc footy page. I'd bet these stories gave been lined up to go out with 10 games to go.
It would a lot more convincing if we hadn't just had a 5-0 thumping win and City hadn't stumbled to a 1-0 win with a dodgy pen.
They've won their last 7 games on the bounce.
We've won 3 out of our last 7 games.
And yet we are top having only lost once all season.
Yep, that's how I'm seeing it too, they are definitely the more wound up of the sides mentally, unfortunate thing is they keep fucking winning though.Still odd they're talking about us so much. Hardly a clever strategy if they don't want to look like they're the nervous ones.
I cant even remember that!Sterling's too fucking thick to play any mind games more complicated than remembering his own fucking mobile number.
I cant even remember that!
Badum TshHardly surprising. It's not your phone.
Yeah, but let's not pretend we're in some amazing run of form because we won 5-o two days ago. They're the form team, not us.
Yep, being quiet and getting on with it is all we have to do right now, I think this is where Klopps experience in title races is coming in valuable, lets not motivate our opponents, or create complacency, before we've even stepped foot on the pitch. For me, this is actually starting to feel a bit like the inverse of 12/13...
Then, we were unstoppable for a long string of games to start the new year and deep into the spring, whilst they slipped up a bit, here and there, but always stayed well within striking distance whilst we got all the headlines and plaudits - In the end, we peaked just a little bit too soon, and they out lasted us to win the bloody thing at the end... All people remember from that season is our breathtaking football, whilst coming 2nd.
Now, they seem to be peaking and the world is talking like they're unstoppable and it's only a matter of time before they regain their rightful place at the top of the table, while we're stumbling around, playing some generally poor stuff lately and generally fluffing our lines... And yet, we're still top, even as we experience our inevitable wobble in form. I really do think that City are getting over-hyped a bit right now (they're a great team, but they're not flawless) and that there's still a couple of slip-ups in them.
And this year, I think we'll be able to see it out in the end.
