I can resist no longer…

Not if you want that impact to be goals or assists - neither of which he has ever contributed to at the sort of level required to fit into a Liverpool team.

Every single forward Klopp has signed has pretty much scored more goals in the season previous to signing than Traore has in his entire career.

He’s the sort of woeful signing we used to make before we started actually buying players based around over-performing in key stays.

Traore is direct, big and fast - which means he can cause issues for defences operating a high line, but is next to useless against teams that sit deep - because he’s not very creative, doesn’t score and lacks “footballing intelligence”.

He’s the most over-hyped footballer I think I’ve ever seen.

The Adama fan club currently consusted if you (Bluebell), Moron & Donavan Reid - that paints a story.

Harsh, but definitely fair.

No disrespect but you could have just written that comment yourself rather then pasting a tweet from a fan.
We still need to strengthen MF, until then I am refusing to get excited
No disrespect but you could have kept that thought to yourself really and passed my post by 😉 why comment negatively like that ..maybe I like pictures of Klopp he’s a great manager…
bog off there are people dying out there !

Love that photo of him laughing at Fred trying to get handy with him. I've seen him do that to other opponents as well. Must be infuriating for them but there's naff all they can do about it because, besides the fact that he's pacy and can play, the lad is one big unit and I don't see him losing physical battles.

It's a pity that the lad fell away a bit after doing well when he first came back, but IMO he has talent and he defo has the right attitude. I think he'll be OK.

I'm pretty sure Klopp just wanted to teach him a lesson after he got in trouble for the flare and then that stuff on social media.

Klopp doesn't take any shit and it was a bit of a coincidence that he suddenly disappeared from match day squads for a while.

Yeh, I reckon he will get back up to doing well again and pretty soon now maybe too 🙂

Yeh I felt there was something in that too.
he had so much potential, I believe he could well prove himself soon, he defo had it ..IMO

I think he's one that's too good not to make it. He looked a class above right from his first appearance in pre-season when he was about 16.

So who do we think will be the young player to set his mark on the first team this season?

My money is on Carvalho. But Elliott might be in line for a breakout season.

yeh looking forward to next season. Hoping Elliott is back on it have a feeling he will be …and I agree Carvalho looks good to make his mark …

It will be interesting to see how Elliott and Carvalho get on and how they influence our style. They're the type of players one would associate more with current Man City or Wenger's Arsenal than Klopp's Liverpool. Klopp's Liverpool sides have been more about physical strength, speed and power than finesse.

Get the feeling Klopp's been trying to add more creativity to midfield for a while now.

Or, they put on a ton of muscle and lose their finesse.

All this 4-2-3-1 talk could unlock Elliott's potential to the fullest imo.

Yep Elliott could basically play any of those 3 roles pretty well. In a front 3 the wide players just have too much ground to cover if they're not really fast and athletic. You want strong runners there like Diaz and Mane.

In terms of young players to break through, and assuming Carvalho is a given to at least play some part, then Kaide Gordon is the best prospect imo, at least in terms of talent. He's obviously pretty skinny still though. I don't think there's anyone else at his level. Owen Beck at left back looked quite good when he stepped up, but it's not really a position we need cover in. The only other one is Van den Berg who did well at Preston and looked surprisingly classy in the videos I saw. It's probably a year too early for him, though.
