Sky Sports have run a poll today
'Who will win the premier league?'

1.Chelsea - 24% of the vote
2.United - 20% of the vote
3.Liverpool - 15% of the vote
4.Citeh - 14% of the vote
5.Spurs - 12% of the vote
6.Arsenal - 8% of the vote.
FUCKING HELL.

Unfortunately they'll probably be fine.

It's obvious they do have real money to spend, I just hope they wAste their time chasing Suarez

"@GeoffArsenal: I'm going to be controversial now. I think Ramsey can turn into Scweinsteiger in time"

Thats funny as fuck.
Amazing how right up to today they really REALLY thought they were getting him!!
As soon as Henry made those quotes over a week ago you knew it was done.

The optimism of them is s sight to behold (and funny as fuck to see it all deflate), its the polar opposite to this forum and Liverpool fans. We could see Will.i.an pull up in a limo at Melwood and tell the fans he is signing and then someone pulls a newspaper clip from three years ago where he says he wants to play in the Bundesliga one day and EVERY Liverpool fan would be all 'WERE SHIT!!!!"

I'm surprised at how close they thought they were to signing him despite all signs pointing to us not selling to them.

One of the more realistic fans posted this though: (lol)

We laugh at them every year with their shit starts to seasons but they still pull it together.

Yah that's what I wanted to say ... however,

they only have 11 first team players to pick for Fulham, of which two are goalies ...

and media is saying Ox may be out for 3 months ... probably bs, but the pressure is definitely on Wenger ... a loss against Fulham will increase the pressure tremendously.

Their transfer activity this summer has been puzzling. Does Wenger actually prefer not to spend money so that he can point to that when he does not win any cups.

Wenger is utterly charmless these days. Apparently he blamed the press after the match. He really needs to go away and regain some sanity.

Im a massive fan of Wenger, I think hes built some of the best footballing sides of the last 20 years but I think the jig is up for him, Chelsea and City winning the lottery has put Arsenal in a position where they just cant keep up anymore and they need a new approach. Hes too cosseted there because of what hes done for them and they are indulging his personal ideology simply because he makes bags of money for the owners, he needs to move on to a different challenge because I still think hes an amazing manager but he cannot win the league with Arsenal

I don't know about that. I think he could if he signed some players because his teams always end up performing well even when on paper they look average. Throw in a few top class signings that'd give 'em some consistency and quality and they could be up there. The problem is that those top class signings just never seen to come for Arsenal these days.

It can't help his players that every time they glance over at the dugout he's either curled up in a ball or kicking water bottles around like a kid having a tantrum. He can barely bother to acknowledge the existence of other managers, he views all the press as vermin and now even snipes at his own fans on a regular basis. His one solution to problems with his squad is to bring in yet more young French players who are then quietly shipped back out again after a year or two of flattering to deceive in the reserves. He's a bright guy but he's completely lost the plot here and should go off to manage the French national team and recover a sliver of sanity.

He and that club each need a break from the other in order to move forward. I think he's still capable of doing well in another job, and the right successor at the Arse will find that Wenger's laid some important groundwork for the future, but him hanging on there isn't going to work.

Shame innit.

That's too sweeping IMHO. I've known more than one decent one, my dad included. Most other London clubs' fans are worse in my experience.

Anyone who lived through the horror of George Graham's team can't help but find it laughable how Gooner fans now waddle around claiming they're the great connoisseurs of the beautiful game. They spend most of each game singing about the opposing side, rarely ever show any serious support for their own side and bay for blood if any game fails to go as planned. No other club that big attracts so many clueless whoppers.

They never featured on my radar until the Suarez fiasco, but I took great delight watching yesterday's implosion

The real issue is that the board has never backed him even when he did have good players he couldnt keep them, as soon as anybody, even a direct rival, offered them a decent wedge for one of their top players the board were more than happy to cash in and fuck the team over.

Selling Van Persie to Utd last season was the icing on the cake, their board are an embarrassment and they have allowed Wenger to carry the can for them publicly for the last 10 years of short sighted profit gouging. When he walks, and it will be soon, the club will descend into chaos
