I'm liking that line up. But i reckon Matip and Lovren will play at CB with Gomez at RB. But i prefer your team.So what line-up are we expecting tomorrow?
I think it might be something like this.
Ward
Flanagan
Gomez
Lovren
Moreno
Henderson
Wijnaldum
Coutinho
Chamberlain
Solanke
Woodburn
I've always been impressed when he's played, but he's so rarely played or comes on with 2 minutes to go, it's borderline impossible to make an impressionGrujic is already 21. He needs to improve massively and start taking any first-team chances he gets, otherwise he's never going to make it.
He hasn't even been on the bench for a while. Are we sure he's not injured again?I've always been impressed when he's played, but he's so rarely played or comes on with 2 minutes to go, it's borderline impossible to make an impression
If he doesn't play against Leicester, it's another "what's the fucking point"
I think we will play a weakened team mid week and get turned over the go back at the weekend with a full strength side and beat them.
Ward, Ox, Grujic, Solanke and Woodburn should all get a start, Coutinho Sturridge should get a run at some point to get more minutes to sharpen up.
We know what Sturridge can do and we also know it's not as good as what he used to be able to do. He's a fading force and bound to be injured again when we actually need him so I would give Solanke a chance to shine and he should definitely (from now on) be ahead of Sturridge in the pecking order. We need Sturridge in good form = Sturridge to start, Solanke as a sub.

Maybe play both but if he only starts with one striker then it has to be Solanke. He looks robust and hopefully his career won't be blighted by injury (like Sturridge's and Ings' so far) so hopefully if at some stage this season Klopp wants to play with an out-and-out striker he'll prove fit-for-purpose in both quality and fitness.I'd play both of them. Solanke deserves his chance. With Sturridge, we've surely reached the stage where he just has to earn his wages. He needs to play his way into form, and if he can't do that because of his fitness, then, well, that's it. He can't just drift through another season as a question mark. He needs to contribute, or be shown not to be able to contribute. At the moment he's fit, and he needs to regain his sharpness.
Ward will start 100%.

I agreeSturridge looks sharper as the Burnley game went on. I will play him just to see if he just needs more game sharpness, or if he is done.
I'd play Sturridge as the most senior player, give him the captain's armband and find out if he's willing to guide/shake a team through a tight game. If it works it could give him a new lease of life.I agree
