Comolli mentioned we were interested in bringing in a player for each of these positions, who do you think we are looking at and are likely to buy whether it be now or in the summer?

I would hope the bar is set a 'little' higher than that.
 
Coentrao for LB
Aurelio/Johnson pushed up to the wings
Suarez for up front

EDIT@ Elia would be wonderful on the wings aswell..
 
I'd love Suarez, Elia, Coentrao but somehow I don't think our owners will be splashing out around 50mil in January.
 
Taiwo has 6 months left on his contract apperantly, so I'd go for him.

He may not but both are more than capable of sitting while the other goes forward with Meireles of course having more of the defensive duties.
 
I'd be ecstatic with Suarez and Coentrao in January. We desperately need a great winger, but have done for about twenty years - so we can wait one more transfer window for that.

Yep he has played quite a bit as a winger and has had some success too.
 
I think a DM is the biggest priority right now. We're pathetically thin in the most important area of the pitch. Sort it out Comolli.

I think we have to be prioritising one. The good thing is, there's some really good young DM's in France at the moment where Comolli should be strong on contacts and knowledge.

M'Vila would be an awesome buy.

Contreao is a winger turned full back so it's no wonder he's a good winger..

He would be a fantastic signing and is an excellent player. So it won't happen..

I'm going for a Ligue 1 theme (on the basis that most targets there are achievable given the Prem is undoubtedly a bigger pull) - raid Lyon for Cissokho and Bastos, Bordeaux for Gignac
 
I really think a class DM should be the priority, at the moment we're stuck with Lucas, Spearing and fucking Poulsen there

Yes, yes, we heard - another midfielder should take priority over the fact we have no left back, no left midfield, and one striker - nobody responded simply because they dont agree.

The point remains - anyone who thinks that an additional midfielder is a higher priority than a left back (who isnt a. shit with a gobby fishwife for a ma or b. made of glass) or a striker, needs their head examined
 
A DM is a far greater priority than LB at any rate. About as equally important as getting a striker. Followed by a left winger, a centre back, and THEN a left back.

Only my opinion, of course.
