Is anyone driving one or considering getting one?
They seem to be approaching the point of making sense financially providing you don't commute beyond their range or care about what the car actually looks like.
I was looking at them a few months ago and this has popped up, a 4 day test drive of the Nissan leaf and has sort of rekindled the interest:

After doing a bit of reading it seems like a super efficient little diesel city car would cost around the same to run and give you more flexibility on the range as well as instant refuelling at a petrol station but there's something cool about the thought of driving an electric car.
However if petrol prices creep up again or electric cars become even a little more efficient or incentivised then it might be the time to buy one?
