Lisbon to Hull. Ouch poor bastard.

I really hate us for not giving him a chance - I mean a proper one. I still remember him coming alive in the CL against Real Madrid before he got sent off, but feel like he was never given a proper run. Personally think we have ruined him and not able to judge if he is or is not a good player. Loan moves tell you nothing most of the time - so I don't buy into this shit about him being so poor. In season where we could do with a player on the wings with Mane gone - it is a pity we did not recall him. At least give the guy a fucking go. Sometimes it takes a consistent run before a player can shine - he was no better than Lalana was back when we bought him under Rodgers.

hopefully he turns up and we can recoup some of the money we have wasted on him

Don't think he has the desire to play anymore probably due to family reasons?

If he's not starting ahead of diomande then you know its game over.

I've been quietly impressed by Hull this season and if they manage to stay up then it won't be for lack of effort. It will be interesting to see if he has the fight required for a relegation scrap. All the signs point to no but I hope or be surprised.

Its a clever plan - he will play for Hull on Thursday, score a hattrick to knock the mancs out and then be recalled in time for the weekend match

It looks like he was just massively overhyped.

What we saw for us was a guy who had some talent but he never developed his game to be able to succeed in the Premiership. Kick and run past defenders works when you have the physical advantage - and he never had that in the Premiership.

This signing has to go down as a scouting failure.

Common Lazar. I hope you will turn Your career around and make a few steps for yourself!! Good Luck with New Tough Challenge to keep Hull in PL!!

Well, hopefully he'll have some decent games for them so we could at least get some money back for him.

[article]New signing Lazar Marković says he’s hoping to prove himself in the Premier League following his loan move from Liverpool.

The 22-year-old winger joined the Reds in 2014 for a significant fee but has so far failed to establish himself as a regular at Anfield.

Marković, who cut short a loan spell at Sporting Lisbon to join up with the Tigers, says he’s focused on proving himself at the KCOM Stadium after a difficult year away from England on loan in Turkey and Portugal.

“I hope that my actions will speak louder than words and I can prove myself to the club and to everyone in English football,” said Marković.

“I joined Liverpool when I was very young and have not yet had a long run in the side to show people what I am capable of.

“I hope to use this loan spell with Hull City to prove myself in the best league in the world because I feel there is lots more to come from me.”

The winger says a conversation with head coach Marco Silva convinced him to make the move to East Yorkshire and admits he’s looking forward to working alongside his new boss.

“Marco convinced me that this was a good move for me and I am very happy to be here,” he added.

“He is a very successful coach from abroad and has started well at this club too. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the staff.

“Everyone is very confident that we can keep this club in the Premier League and I am looking forward to playing my part this season.

“We have a good coach and a good squad so we have to be confident of our chances of remaining in the division.”[/article]

I think it's a good move for him. As someone else pointed out Hull have been pretty good this season. I'll be watching his progress with interest.

Yup, Marco Silva would be familiar Markovic given their time in Primeira Liga.

Almost forgot he's only turning 23 this yr. While this loan move seems more like one to put him on the shop window, who knows what a successful loan spell may mean for his LFC future?

The spiel about not being able to prove how good he is at liverpool is fine in isolation, he didnt get alot of chances to prove himself and he was young.

However, given how fucking shite he was at a couple of other sides in dross leagues, that stands for little, especially given as one of those moves was to a former side in a league he should be more than comfortable with and the other was just a dross league full stop.

He's garbage and he has been garbage for quite some time now, id be VERY surprised if a stint at Hull does anything to change that perception. £20m down the pisser.

He had it all, a bad ass first name and some pretty youtube videos and the big fee.

His name is designed for the red top back page headlines

Ah, simpler times, when we would be excited about possible new signings based on their amusing name and/ or how handsome they were.

Damn you Isco! Damn you to hell!

On the bench tonight.

Hull 1-0 curteousy of a pen awarded by John Moss

Lazar to come on and get a brace would make things a bit happier shall we say.
