Spurs have made some terrific signings. One could argue they've strengthened even if Bale leaves and they sign nobody.

They're a sure fire pick for top 4 for me this season.

Can you imagine what Arsenal fans are thinking when comparing what they have done in the market compared to Spurs?

I doubt he's close to signing, it's probably just a preliminary link for now.

If Lamela is made available, there will be a host of clubs bidding, not just Spurs.

Played the 1st half against Italy yesterday

Argentina opted for an attacking 4-3-3 line-up with Di Maria pulling the strings behind three Italy-based forwards in Napoli's Higuain, Rodrigo Palacio of Inter Milan and Roma's Erik Lamela.

Argentina took the lead after Italy lost the ball in midfield and Erik Lamela picked out Higuain, who was given too much space in the box by De Rossi and Verratti and he curled a shot into the right hand side of goal.

Watched him play the pre season game against Chelsea in Washington DC last weekend. Was not that impressed with him. Lampard, Hazard, and Totti were the best players on the pitch.

Totti..what an absolutely elegant player..Feel privileged to have watched him in the flesh..
 
Totti is my favourite non Liverpool player ever.

Arent we owned by the same people as Roma? Lets make this happen.

15 - Erik #Lamela netted 15 in the Serie A 2012-13, the 3rd most across the top-5 European Leagues among players born from '92 on. Wonder.
