Lallana injured

To be fair more of Lallana's time here has been average than it has been good or better.

He didn't look right at all last week.

He's just back after a lengthy injury and no cup games to get upto speed. And now he's injured again with another niggle, so it's no real surprise he's struggled in his few appearances. He was lackluster in his season under Rodgers, when we lost Suarez and Sturridge was in injured, under Klopp he's been a good player, it's a revisionist to say he's been average.

He’s truly sublime with the ball and I love watching his close ball control, but his end product has been very disappointing. He occupies an attacking role whether it’s in midfield or on the left, so seeing him make the wrong decision in the final third, or make horrible shots on goal has been frustrating throughout his career with us.
Again, his skills and incredible workrate are qualities I love about him. But he really has to step up on his performances in the final third, fit or not.

He is clearly Klopp's only answer to selling Coutinho, and one of the very few players who might be able to do something creative to get through the West Brom wall of turd.

We'll just have to watch Can run into all night instead. That's the footy we all know and love.

We need to stop playing Can against shit teams. He’s a truly useless lump if he’s not asked to chase around superior attackers.

Yeah, I agree with all that JM, he's technically one of the best players we have. He did up his output, but he's playing catch up this season.

Yep. It isn't and never has been about Lallana himself as far as you're concerned. All that matters to you is clinging for dear life to your self-comforting prejudice that English fans overrate English players, period.

Now that I agree with. If I were a manager I'd be tempted to crack down on players' dafter hairstyles and Lallana's current one would defo be on the list.

Well isn't he overrated? Just like Hendo the super captain? None of top teams in England we're after him, think they regret it?
