I'd play wijnaldum in coutinhos space for the foreseeable

His strength and ability that high up should force him in to performing

But, ideally, we need to buy

Fucking 30 year old stop gap until the summer if needs be.

He looked ok at the academy on Wednesday. He might’ve fell over those shitty low slung jeans the cunts wear.

What about Firmino in the old Coutinho role and Sturridge as the striker.

Evidenced last year (and the year before), bobby doesn't seem to work out well in any position but the one he's made his own

Playing off benteke/sturridge the other year he struggled to make an impact. On the wing, similar issues.

No, if bobby isn't striker, bobby ain't playing for me

Lallana's 30 this year, and doesn't have a great fitness record either. So it's fair to say his best form is probably behind him.

It's unfair to expect him to replace Coutinho anyway. Lallana's main strengths, especially under Klopp, were his high-energy pressing and his solid technical ability. Now he needs to be properly fit to play that role, or he's not going to be of much value.

While being skilful enough on the ball, he's never had genuine playmaking ability of the kind Coutinho had, and he's not suddenly going to develop it.

We need to buy to replace Coutinho.

Actually this maybe a blessing in disguise...i have never been 100% convinced by him...reminds me of a modern day Smicer. Klopp puta so much faith in him too...so his injury may force him to buy.

Once upon a time Lallana was just as good as Coutinho...in some people's heads.

Once upon a time, he wasn't injured and was playing really well and crucial to how well we were playing, and Modo looked like a complete tit.

Then he got injured and Modo convinced himself he was right, because an injured player can't keep proving himself. So after a handful of games back, half fit, Modo was right after all!

Why don't you crayon another shite poem about Bananaman or something, put it as your signature, that would be tops.

So Lallana was on his way to superstardom but an injury got in his way so he turned average at 27???

Yes Modo. That's exactly what I was saying.

So he's turned average because of the way he's performed in a couple of games since a lengthy injury? O.K.

Overall considering we paid a lot of money for him at the time he's quickly shaping up to be failed signing.

How many games has he missed now through injury?

Like Sturridge, no point being great only when your super fit, if you are never super fit.

My oh my.

I hope we win tomorrow.

The state of this place when we lose.

Honestly - can you blame us ? - we must be the only club in Europe that dominated our domestic league/Europe for nearly 20 years and then go onto not dominate or win a single league title in 28 years. Our whole story is a joke in these barren league winning years apart from a few sparks. This decade is shaping up to be the worse for us in the last 50 years. The players we have seen at this club over the years and then to sell one of our best in the hope that Lallana is going to come to the rescue - fuck me - I like Klopp;s style but he can be a little delusional about his own players ability, state of mind and their physical fitness.

Honestly if this transfer window closes and we sign no one - then the fans voices need to be heard. I don't buy any of the shit about not finding the players we need blah blah blah. They know who they want - they should pay the money in this 'market' or just say - we need the money to pay for VVD+Keita and the coffers are empty. That way we are not fed false hope for the rest of the season, and we are ready to watch shit for the rest of the season.

To be fair more of Lallana's time here has been average than it has been good or better.

He didn't look right at all last week.
