I'd happily have him as our #2 or #3 striker. Let's face it, we don't have money to splash out on too many quality players - so if we buy say Turan, than signings like Klose need to be made to strengthen a weak squad.

Exactly what he said.
I was going to comment on his movement, before I saw your post, he gets into goal scoring positions easily and if he drags the opposition defenders out of position thereby creating space for team mates like Mueller and Podolski to do some damage (see Germany's 2nd goal against England).
He'd be affordable and probably still has a couple of good seasons left in him. Liverpool could do with a backup striker like him. But will Bayern be disposed to letting him go though? He might still finish the World Cup as the golden boot winner and/or its all time highest goal scorer. Their fans won't be happy to see him leave after the tournament he's having.
