Klopp Needs To Loook At Himself

Does anyone here actually think Klopp is the type not to look at himself?

In what way?

I don't think he's the type to question his position or his tactics, man management etc no, he's a proven winner.

If by look at himself you mean look at his squad and analysing what they could do better, then of course.

1 We have more injuries than any other team not just this season but consistently
2 Too much reliance is then made on the medical team for when they should play, we seem overly cautious, but he still doesn't help
3 Playing players not match ready why haven't the likes of Jones and Ox played for the U23's
4 Too much rotation 5 changes every game is a joke and therefore no consistency
5 Failing to bring in players. We have no players aged 24/29 in midfield everyone saw the problem that was coming apart from him so it would seem. It is an absolute joke to say no players were available that could have helped us as.
6 The players are continually going out with the wrong attitude. The selection today was arrogant and the whole team was complacent and just thought they would win without putting in a performance and it has happened to many times this season.

All points other than 5 is due to circumstances, beyond his control in my view. But some those issues 1 2 3 4 - only happen because of point 5. That was just pure arrogance on the part of the club.

Point 6 I find hard to debate with anyone. As far as I am concerned, our players have tried their best to try and win every game ... maybe not defend...but to try and win, because they are running and keeping the ball, that takes effort. So therefore I would say again because of point 5, we lack players who have ideas to win those games that we have drawn this season.

in the way that the OP suggested.

Yes, he’s a winner, and possibly stubborn with his tactics. But do I think he never takes a look at himself and questions his own decisions and approach? No, I don’t.

That's absurd. He's too intelligent not to, nor does he shy away from having coaches around him with different ideas.

I think the reason we had a year on year success before we won a trophy was because of klopp's willingness to adapt and change tactics. He dialed down on the Crazy gengenpress when he realised the squad couldn't sustain it all season and it worked.

At the moment we are back to that situation where we can't sustain the workload that is needed to execute the desired tactics, hence the results.

Even with a full strength team I doubt us... That midfield is a mess. Poor Fabinho had been like Atlas carrying the defensive side of the midfield and now he looks exhausted.

[article]The agent of Jurgen Klopp says he's fully committed to the Liverpool job.

The German gaffer has endured a miserable start to the campaign, with his side winning just four out of 12 Prem games. However, there was a boost tonight with their 2-0 Champions League win against Napoli.

And the 55-year-old is not planning on going anywhere just yet.

His advisor, Marc Kosicke, told Sky Germany that Liverpool chiefs were expecting a hangover this season after coming two wins away from an unprecedented quadruple last term.

Kosicke said: "I can assure you that Jürgen Klopp is not thinking of retiring from Liverpool.

"The fact that problems could arise this season due to the past intense season was also taken into account by the club's owners before the start of the season."

Off topic a little:

[article]Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he left Borussia Dortmund early so to prevent them missing out on Thomas Tuchel.

Klopp wanted Tuchel to succeed him when leaving for Liverpool in 2015.

"I can still remember the reason for the timing at the time was that Thomas Tuchel was about to go to HSV," he told the WDR podcast.

"Wait a minute. Tuchel goes to HSV? Then we have to get out of it now. That was why it was a little earlier than planned.

"Internally we pushed it a little earlier, so that they could speak to Thomas early, whom I consider an exceptional trainer."

Tuchel followed Klopp from Mainz to Dortmund before landing the job at PSG.[/article]

It has nothing to do with respect.
Klopp is not above criticism, and he has to take some liability for the attitude of the players.

Yes he is not above criticism nor should he be.

But @bluebell makes some valid points when he says that... "We know the club fucked up in the summer, nothing can be done about it till the winter. We've lost 3 strikers within the space of a few games. We have a DM a shadow of himself and a RB who seems he can't run 5 yards, and shrugs his shoulder alot.
He rotates the squad because the games are coming thick and fast"

Your fifth point... "Failing to bring in players. We have no players aged 24/29 in midfield everyone saw the problem that was coming apart from him so it would seem. It is an absolute joke to say no players were available that could have helped us as".... I believe has more to do with FSG transfer policy than Klopp

I can't help being right.

Two MFs, a RB and the Georgian and we are winning the league next season - not that we will get the Georgian.

We don’t need a RB - we need to refocus the one we have and re-tweak the system to get the best out of him while adding some solidity (hint - the 2 midfielders).

I don’t know where the Georgian gets a game.

Is this Georgi Kincladze we are talking about? Isn't he a bit past it at this stage?

Interesting. I remember an article a while ago which claimed Tuchel got so fed up with hearing Klopp's name mentioned at Dortmund that he banned it. Either whoever wrote that was chatting sh!t or Tuchel turned ingratitude into an art form.

Where's part 2? It jumps around a bit but decent..

Melissa Reddy sounds young!
I'm a bit nervous at admitting I listen (but don't subscribe) to this podcast, as I'm scared of Momo ... but

I think they plan to release an episode every week or so for the first 4 or 5 episodes; there will then be 4 or 5 more from around April. At the moment they are free; they haven't said it yet, but I'm guessing after a few episodes they will move it all behind their paywall (chiseling cunts 🙂)

So you should be. I’m built like Thor.
