The Liverpool defender has put nearly half a million pounds behind his younger brother's company, KloAgger, which literally translates as Agger toilet.
Marco Agger will team up with friend Rune Rasmussen to run the company, which will create jobs in Agger's native Denmark.
Family business: Daniel Agger has invested in KloAgger
Investment: Agger has backed his brother's sewer company to the tune of nearly half a million pounds
The 28-year-old has already proven his mature approach to finances, having refused a payment from his floundering former club Brondby.
The struggling Superliga side had an obligation to pay a number of present and former players a nominal fee after failing to pay supplementary holiday pay, pensions and benefits.
Denmark captain Agger decided not to claim though, believing that it was unfair with the club struggling financially.
